Leven let go and looked straight at Helios. “What do you mean?” She asked him.

"I killed my childhood best friend." Helios said before sprinting away.

Caleb had been cleaning off his weapon when he saw Helios running out of the woods.

Leven watched him run off. She looked at the building before following after him. “Helios!” She called. “Hey, wait up!”

Helios didn't want to look back, he didn't want to think about Peter.

Leven continued on. She didn’t even notice Caleb when she ran out. “Helios!” She kept yelling, trying to make him stop so she could at least talk to him.

Helios was crying thinking about his dead friend.

Leven was out of breath by the time she reached Helios. “H-hey.” She said, bending over, her hands on her knees as she took deep breaths. “Are you okay?”

"you shouldn't worry about a murderer like me." Helios said.

“It’s the Global Community, you can’t blame ourself for what they made you do.” Leven said, walking closer to him. “I saw the Global Community insignia on a block.” She told him, rubbing her arms and looking down at the floor.

"yeah, it used to be a child circus... Do you know what a child circus is?" Helios asked

Leven shook her head. “No i don’t.”

"it's where they take children with fighting skills who refuse to join the global society to fight to the death." Helios said.

Leven rubbed her arm. She didn’t know much about what the Global Community did to others besides that they set fire to all of the rebellion’s bases. “I-I’m sorry.” She said, shutting her eyes.

Caleb decided to see if he was alright. Helios had been his only friend since, well, a long time.
