Leven couldn’t help but think something might go wrong. Maybe her friend wouldn’t come? Or maybe something had happened to them? Leven shook that thought away as she reached the stairs leading up to her floor. She couldn’t think about that now. “I just have to hope for the best.” She thought to herself.

Caleb trained half-heartedly, his mind somewhere else. He managed to pull his focus back to reality and shot a few birds for the kitchen crew.

Leven now lay back in her bed. Her eyes closed, but she wasn’t asleep. Images flashed through her mind, horrifying ones. Leven tossed about in her bed but nothing got rid of the nightmares she had.

Helios remembered Peter's situation Being much worse, Peter's father was crazy for the boss of the child circus. He remembered Peter's dad even dragging children in to impress the woman.

Caleb climbed up to the roof of the building and stretched out on his back. His eyes were full of stars and his mind was full of wonder.

Leven had become accustomed to her usual nightmares by now. They were horrifying and sometimes she woke up screaming, even crying too. To some people they were just scary, but to Leven they were terrifying.

The moon bathed the world in its silver glow, turning the broken world we humans live in into a thing of marvelous beauty. With a feeling of soft contentment, Caleb fell asleep.

She sometimes wanted to scream, but most nights she just woke up crying. Leven’s nightmares began the night her parents were killed. Sometimes as she dreamed she could still hear their screams which sent shivers down her back and reminded her she did nothing but runaway.

Helios spent time lighting the shrine again, like the night Leven and Caleb got together

Caleb woke up as the sun began to rise. He closed his eyes again, breathing deeply.

Leven climbed out of bed and threw the drapes open to let the sunshine filter in. She always loved watching the sun rise in the mornings.

Caleb took hold of a rope he'd placed there before and swung down, relishing the breeze whipping by.
