Wester was still a little kid when he learned how cruel this world was. "YOU LITTLE BRAT!" His mom yelled. His mom was never mentally stable, but he didn't know why she had to be like this and why God made her like this. -
Niz was waiting by the tree for someone. He didn't know who, but he was sure they'd come.

Wester rushed out of his house to look for his father, after all he was the nicer one.

Niz saw a boy with snowy white hair and waved to him.

Wester saw someone waving to him, he waved back happily, he bet they were a mainlander, mainlanders were friendly and kind.

Niz figured the same thing, and spread his wings and glided over to Wester. "You must be a mainlander," he said.

"oh, no I'm northern." Wester said with a shy smile.

"You are?" Niz said, sounding surprised. "But...you're friendly. You waved back."
