"Down" Chester Mimicked

"Down," Artery confirmed. Then she spotted an odd oak door. "What this?"

He shrugged

Artery rapped her knuckles against it and opened it. It revealed a small room. Resting in the center of it was an ornate silver box, which she carefully picked up.

Chester shutter clicked at her

She held it out for everyone to see. "Box," she said dramatically.

Chester sniffed it

A small whirring noise came from the inside, and Artery offered it to Chester.

Chester took tge box and mimicked the noise
-
The noise repeated. Artery chirruped, and so did the box. Suddenly, Tendril paled. "There's a mimic in there!"

Chester blinked at him "Mimic" he said in tendrils voice

Tendril was slightly unnerved by Chester's own mimicry before taking the silver box. "A mimic like this is extremely dangerous."
Artery frowned. "Why?"
"This kind of mimic will kill you and then pretend to be you," Tendril said, before crushing the silver box under his heel. "It's called a Switcher." -
Chester tilted his head in confusion

"You squish the box," Artery said, sounding disappointed.
Tendril sighed. "I had to."
Artery decided to head into the closet, and found herself in the Underworld. -
Chester made a mechanical sound similar to a horse nickering
