*the tall man wanders the forest, body obscured by a brown cloak with leaves sewn onto it, face hidden by the deer skull mask he never removes. If he were to stay still, you wouldn't even know he was there, as even his hair is the same shade as the trunks of the trees nearby. But for now, he wanders the forest, searching for something*
-
*A shadow stalks through the trees. The shadow belongs to a small black cat. The cat's eyes shine violet in the darkness. The cat stops moving and magical energies stir as the cat begins to morph. Within a few seconds a tall woman stands in the cat's place. The woman continues walking about the forest and scans the perimeter as she walks*
-
*sensing someone nearby, the man stops and crouches down, effectively hiding among the foliage, though the skull does seem.. a bit out of place. He glances around, waiting to see if whoever is roaming is dangerous*
-
*Irathel continues to walk calmly and briskly through the woods, she is relaxed and walks with a gentle posture. She continues to look around, she thinks she sees something in the trees and stops to get a second look*
-
*he stares at the witch, watching her closely for a moment, before he decides to shift to stand back up, pushing his cloak back some*
...
You're unfamiliar. This is dangerous land. -
Pardon me, I didn't mean to intrude. *She looks the stranger up and down, very intrigued by the comment of danger* Might I ask about this danger? I seem to have found myself in unfamiliar land.
-
It's me. I'm the danger.
*his voice is monotone, and he's used to most people already backing off, so now he's slightly intrigued*
You've wandered into my land, of decay. -
*Irathel flashes a soft smile* I quite like your forest, Mr. Danger. This is a very beautiful place but I think I am lost. I've been wandering for some time and can't find my way.
-
That.. could be because of the Prophet.. her magic makes it hard to navigate out of this place.
*he pauses, before tilting his head*
What's your name? -
Most call me Lamia or Baba Yaga, those are my titles. Who is this Prophet?
-
She's the Prophet. I don't know any other title for her.
..
So you are a witch. -
*Irathel sighs at the mere mention of the word witch, as she's been branded with it* Not by choice, but yes, I am a witch.
-
*he tilts his head in the other direction at that*
Of course not. There's never a choice in fate.
..
You can call me Fall, if you wish. -
Have truer words ever been spoken? *Irathel smiles amusedly*
Then I shall. Fall, what exactly are you? -
Me? Depends who you ask. I couldn't quite tell you. I've never really known.
Though, more recently I've been called the devil, but I feel that's am exaggeration.
