"no it's a great time to call, how're you doing Cheryl?" Lyra asked cheerfully.

"Oh, I'm doing good. How are you?",she said with a small smile as she started to make a bowl of ramen noodles.

"good enough, I'm about to make myself some dinner. So what're you doing?" Lyra asked while preparing some meat.

"Uuuum...",Cheryl said trying to hide her pride painting. "I'm not actually doing anything.",she answered.

"oh, well it's just like that sometimes." Lyra said with an akward giggle.

Cheryl felt butterflies in her stomach from her giggle. "What type of things are you into?",Cheryl asked.

"well, I like mythology, and books." Lyra said thinking about all of her mythology books. "What kind of stuff do you like?" Lyra asked.

"I like art and horror movies.",Cheryl answered.

"I like horror movies too, just as long as they aren't too Gorey." Lyra said. Lyra was now waiting for some meatloaf to cook in the oven.

"That's cool.",Cheryl said as she start to mix up her bowl of ramen noodles. Oddly, she wanted this phone call to never end although she hated talking on the phone.

"have you ever watched the movie perfect blue? It's a masterpiece." Lyra said.

"No, I haven't. Maybe we could watch it together whenever we hang out tomorrow?",Cheryl suggested as she started to silently eat her bowl of Ramen Noodles.

"that'd be great, I'm pretty sure I have the disk somewhere around here." Lyra said.

"Okay. What time do you want to come over?",Cheryl asked as she smiled widely. She hadn't smiled this much in a long time.

"at about 1pm if that's ok." Lyra said. She was almost done with dinner now, the last step being to put ketchup over the meatloaf.
