Penelope loved the view. She was staring out at it when her phone rang. “Oh, it’s my mom.” She thought to herself. “Ignore.”
-
Erin tilted her head. "That ringtone sounds familiar. Is it...your mom?"
-
Avin wondered why the movie had to be so dramatic.
-
Simon saw a certain look on Avin's face. It was the kind of look he got when watching people. Almost like he was wondering about them. He didn't know why he would get that look on his face.
-
Penelope nodded. “Yah, but it’s probably not important.” She grumbled sticking her phone back into her pocket.
-
Erin looked around. "Hey, I can see our houses from here!"
She waved at her dog, Pip, who simply barked. -
Avin suddenly turned to Simon to see Simon looking at him. Avin smiled and turned back before analyzing what he saw.
-
Simon smiled back then looked back at the tv. Sometimes Avin confused him. But maybe that was because he was 10 years older than him.
-
“I see my cat in the tree!” Penelope laughed
-
Erin clapped her hands together with delight. "I see him too!"
-
Avin could sense Simon's suspicions but knew he wouldn't know much about it.
-
Simon once again had his full attention on the tv screen.
-
“Hey, do you ever wonder where that Simon kid goes when we’re not at school?” Penelope asked, looking around.
-
Erin shrugged. "I don't know. His house?"
-
Avin quickly concluded that Simon wasn't suspicious enough yet to do anything.
