Ria stood next to a large flowing river with her best friend, Asha, the fox. “Well Asha, isn’t it just beautiful?” She asked him, bending down to stroke his fiery red fur.
-
Ronin continued to bleat in a panicked way, kicking in the stranger's direction.
-
Ria began to wade ankle deep into the water. “Make sure not to go too far in, Asha, or the current will sweep you off your feet!” She called to the fox who was wading a little farther than she was into the river.
-
Sena started making noise to alert something to help her, after all, being eaten was better than drowning, or starving to death in this freezing hole.
-
Suddenly Ria spotted Ashe struggling to keep his head above the water and dove in after him. “Hang on Asha! I’m coming!” She yelled swimming towards him as fast as she could.

imma name my bird mango)
Mango chirped in alarm as her greenish-grey foot got stuck in the mud that she had been standing on. As she struggled to pull her foot out of the mud that was rapidly pulling it in, the other became stuck. She screeched and flapped her wings, but only sank further in. She stopped moving, and the sinking slowed. She knew that she was in trouble and couldn't save herself, but the question was; Would someone come to her aid?
Flare walked through the forest, pushing away stray tree limbs and fallen branches. She heard an alarmed deer's call and went in the direction of it to see if it needed help. -
Ria grabbed Asha by his stomach and threw him into the shallow end. Suddenly she felt her feet be sucked from under her and was pulled into the current. Her head went under and she sank to the bottom. She didn’t want to go like this and pushed off the ground and brought her head up. She swam as fast as she could towards Asha, who came and grabbed her by the collar of her jacket and hauled her to the edge of the river. “W-well I’m not going swimming again.” She gasped as she laid down on the ground.
-
Sena scratched the tree and squeaked. She wanted out more than anything. She promised herself she'd get out one way or another.
-
Ria and Asha headed back towards her tree house. They were walking when they heard a loud squeak come from a caved in burrow. She hurried over and began digging through the muck and rocks to rescue the poor, trapped animal. “Hang on!” She yelled. “I’ll get you out!”

Blair lifted the flying squirrel off of her head, “Hey, it’s alright. I’m only here to help.” She said to it, although she knew it couldn’t understand. Blair took a burnt stick and started to poke the brambles out of the way, so that the stag could get free.
-
Eisa watched suspiciously. To her great surprise, the girl was helping Ronin instead of hurting him.
Ronin pulled himself free and blinked at Blair, his eyes warm and grateful. -
Blair knew that the deer was grateful but wild animals were unpredictable so she took a couple of steps back, “See? I’m no danger.”
-
Eisa jumped onto Ronin's head, clutching his antlers with her tiny paws.
Ronin looked curious, and sniffed Blair. -
Blair was hesitant to respond before she side-stepped to look for more hurt creatures.
-
Mango was stuck in the mud up to her breast feathers, and it was getting hard to breathe. She made one more flap with her wings before they too, were stuck fast.
Flare spotted the deer, who was now free, thanks to a girl standing close to him. She watched him with curious eyes and smiled at his beauty.
