Arabella didn’t know what to do. If he was malfunctioning that meant they might take him away. She had to think of something. “Hold on one sec, please.” She said closing the door.
“Ios, there’s someone here from the government, what do you want me to do?” She asked the robot frantically trying to figure out a plan or something. -
"The government?" Ios said, confused. "As in...my creator?"

“I-I don’t know, but he wants to take you away.” Arabella said, shaking a bit at the though of maybe losing one of her closest friends.

"Why are you shaking so?" Ios said softly.

“Do you want to go away?” Arabella asked. Her eyes were wide and her bottom lip trembled as she spoke.

"I am happiest here, with you," Ios said. "But what if it is my duty to go with them?"

Arabella looked down. She knew it was selfish, but she really didn’t want Ios to leave. Who would she have to talk to when she felt lonely. Tears began to pour from her eyes. “If you want to go, it’s your choice.” She said.

"I do not know what to choose," Ios said. "I do wish to stay here, but I may bring hardship upon you."

Arabella shook her head quickly. “You’d never do that. You’ve helped me a lot, you know that?” She said, smiling.

"I have done my very best," Ios said. "But this...government. They could harm you."

"Whatever you decide iOS, i'm fine with. it's your decision, but the man is still outside so you have to be quick." Arabella said.

Ios wanted to stay with her, but he feared that if he did so, he would endanger her. He sighed heavily.
"I'll go." -
Arabella nodded and took Ios to the door. She opened it back up and looked directly at the man. “Here he is.” She said.

The government agent smirked at the sight of Ios, before rapping his knuckles against the robot's head.
"Still in pretty good shape. Probably going to be sent for a full memory reset, and a few internal fixes," the man commented. -
Arabella felt her stomach do a somersault. “M-memory reset?” She asked him, her eyes wide.
