You guys already know the plot, so here's the character sheet.

A reminder if you forgot, the plot says that the universal being gives them beverages that give them an advantage when consumed. Here are some few examples, you can come up with your own, if you'd like.
-Able to withstand more damage from the enemies.
-Able to run for a prolonged period of time.
-Able to teleport away from danger (one time a day, to prevent it from being overpowered)
-Able to reload weapons faster
If you come up with a powerful one, make sure to give it a negative effect from too much use, so it won't be overpowered. You can choose more than one if you'd like during the journey, but to make it so it isn't overpowered, let's say we lose the abilities every time we go to a different dimension, and we have to find the machine that supplies us the beverages.
You guys can help me decide what type of enemies we'll encounter.

(Enemy Suggestion: Gnorat. These creatures have large, boulder like features and are five times larger than humans. Inzil: These slim winged creatures have a row of claws on their arms, which snag on the victim's flesh. They have long sharp fangs and are vaguely lizard like.)

Favorite beverage advantage: Gravity Manipulation (wears off after an hour or so) -

Appearance: (he doesn't dress that nice though, the man's a mess, wears clothes like if he's going to sleep)
Strengths: Thanks to the book, his intellect. Able to navigate in unknown places
Weaknesses: Strenght doesn't match his intellect. Has a short fuse too. Can lose his patience quickly.
Backstory: A man fascinated by the mysteries of the world. Met his current companions by traveling around the world to unearth the unknown. Due to all the traveling he doesn't know his friends too well, but at least trusts them to help him with what lies ahead.
Weapon of Choice (can be fictional): MG08, likes heavy weaponry.
Secondary Weapon: Wunderwaffe DG-2, shoots charges of electricity that deal massive damage, unfortunately it doesn't have a high ammo capacity.
Favorite beverage advantage: Gives weapons stronger fire power, however, it depletes ammunition at a really fast rate. -

Secondary Weapon: slingshot (Usually uses this one, though, because it's small and easy to hide and carry around)
Favorite beverage advantage: Super-speed, because she's not that fast. But the more you run the faster it wears off. -

I have no clue what to call that
Nathan had led April and Adelaide down to his lab. Failed machinery can be seen around the room, blueprints scattered across the floor. "Follow me" he told them. He walked towards what seemed to be a teleportation device. "Our journey will soon begin, please wait while I start the machine up." He turned on a generator with a flick of a switch. Gears can be heard shifting inside the teleporter. "Who knows what we'll face out there, are you two ready?" -
(It shall now be known as the tornado giraffe.)
"Well, I guess," Adelaide said, shifting from foot to foot. She didn't know why he was so absessed with all this. It had suddenly happened and she couldn't explain it. Something about that one trip, though. "How will we get back?" -
