"I have no clue, but we'll find a way", Nathan answers while opening a cabinet, which holds the book. "What matters the most, is that we'll stop this evil from coming. For a better tomorrow." Although Nathan is confident everything will work out, finding a way to come back is something he wants to figure out as soon as possible. Even he isn't sure if they'll come back to see their homes.

April shrugged. "That isn't too big of a problem for me. Do you know what we're getting into?"

Addie sighed. He'd been ranting about this evil thing that had to be stopped for a very long time. Now he had a chance to stop it, and nothing was going to stop him.

"I know the steps for this mission to be successful. However, I have no clue what dangers we'll face. The book has told me that we will be provided weapons to defend ourselves" Nathan points at the teleporter, "Let's get in, we have no time to waste"

Addie pressed her lips together. Better be in a group than alone in a strange and unknown placee. And she figured that he'd go whether they came or not. "Alright," she said.

April stepped inside, without hesitation. She trusted that Nathan would be able to think of something if they got into trouble. He always did.

Nathan's the last one to enter the teleporter. "You guys may experience a few side effects after the teleportation, such as nausea" he said quickly, while he tightens his grip on the book. The generator for the teleporter can be heard whirring louder and louder. "Prepare yourselves, I suggest closing your eyes to reduce side effects, but don't worry, this will only take a second." He added.

Now you tell us, Addie thought as the world spun out of control before her eyes. She closed them, and walted to arrive at wherever in the world or another they were going.

April shut her eyes. The sensation was difficult to describe, but she felt as if she were folding in on herself, becoming a tightly compressed square.

So much happened in a blink of an eye, after the teleportation, Nathan's stomach felt like it had turned upside down. He took a breather to let the side effects go away, and looked around him. Buildings collapsed, debris everywhere, it seems that they are in a war torn city. For a war torn city it seems quiet, too quiet. "Keep your eyes peeled for danger ", he said alertly.

April looked at the smoke curling off of a building and sucked in a sharp breath. " Really recent. Whatever did this might still be here."
