(At first I was confused, because this whole thing reminds me of a camp I go to, and the cabins there don't have rafters.)

Castor decided to walk around, to get used to the place.

Alexis decided to read in a tree. She hopped off the bunk bed, and went over to a pine tree. They were the easiest to climb. She sat on a branch and started reading again.

Adelaide decided to explore the place. She might as well, it wasn’t her decision to come here but she would keep herself entertained. Hopping out of the bed she wandered around outside aimlessly.

Castor saw a girl who seemed to be up to the same thing as him. He wondered whether or not to greet her. What would he even say?
"Oh hi, so I see that you're also wandering around here like you're lost. My name's Castor and I'm being really creepy right now."
Yeah, no. -
Lifting and eyebrow she replied, “I’m not lost. How could I be lost at camp? I’m Adelaide, and yes- you are being creepy.”

Adelaide noticed someone, around her age, just standing there. She moved over to him, “What’s up?” -
*wheeze*))
Castor's train of thought crumbled to pieces. "Not much. I'm just wandering around. What about you?" -
“Wishing I could escape this dreadful place.” She muttered under her breath before looking back at the boy and smiling, “Oh! I’me exploring this wonderful place!”

Castor raised his eyebrows at her bubbly reply. "Really? So you don't feel like you're being trapped here?"

“‘Course not!” She replied, obviously lying.

"Uh huh. Well, I kind of feel that way. There's something off about this place," Castor said.
