Penelope listened carefully for anything suspicious. Perhaps it could be a patrol.

Little did Griffin know his fire was creating a beacon of smoke.

The camp was still quiet and asleep.

Penelope waited patiently. Only time would answer her questions.

Griffin started to have a dream
(Because I don't know what else to do with him) -
Ahem. Tat? Could you make something happen?)

(Alright)
Suddenly the ground shook. Kendril woke up with a start and tore out of the tent. The place where the Hatchet had been buried was the source. -

Griffin quickly rolled away from the fire as some of the flaming logs rolled towards him.

Penelope felt the ground shaking beneath her feet. Earthquake! She spurred her horse out of the way of a falling tree.

"PACK UP CAMP!" Kendril yelled. He grabbed the Hatchet. Obviously this earthquake had something to do with the Hatchet.
