Nera Tomasu
You have a very hard life in District 7. Your parents died when you were only two jears old. Now you live with your grandma. You live in a tiny wooden hut with only one room. You take as many tesserae as possible because you have no other food. Before you know it is reaping day. You see no Mentor on the stage. Then somebody you have never seen before walks in. She seems very nervous. Her brown hair lies open on her small shoulders. "My name is Clare Maistery." She walks over to a glass bowl. She pulls a piece of paper and quietly says: "Nera Tomasu" -
Nera walked timidly to the stage. she stood as still as death. She couldn't believe she was chosen. Inside her head she said her goodbyes to her life.

Your parents own a bakery in town. They are pretty rich. You have five sisters and none of you ever took tesserae. Today is reaping day. A beatiful woman walks onto the stage. Her green dress looks so good. You are bored. "Serena Maria" That is your twin! "I VOLUNTEER!" You scream. -

You see the other girl volunteering. You are brought into a building. You promise granny to win. You sit in a train. Someone comes in and gives you food. You are not really conscious. "Eat" she says. It is Johanna Mason. Suddenly you are feeling normal again. -

Belladonna Creek
In district 11 you have no time to worry about the hungergames. All you do is work. Your oldest sister has won the hungergames five years ago. Since then two of your older sisters died in the hungergames. Your father died, because of the peacemakers and you hardly remember him. Your oldest sister doesn´t talk to you and your mother anymore, because she is afraid of hurting the family. Today is the reaping. You stand to your best friend. You see your sister sitting on the stage. She is the only leftover victor of district 11. A woman in her short silver dress walks in. "Welcome. Welcome, to the hungergames. As usual: Ladys first." She walks over to the glass bowl and takes a paper. "And the honor to represent district 11 is:
Belladonna Creek! Happy hungergames, and may the odds be ever, in your favour!" "NO!!!", you hear your sister scream. And you recognise: YOU would have to go to the games. -
