Then they caught up. OR what my equivalent of caught up was while hiking. "Finally," I said.

"Yes, we have arrived," I said, spreading my arms majestically.

"Let's go," I said, and sped down the trails again.

I followed complacently behind her.

I could practically feel the satisfaction behind me. I didn't know what Spice was satisfied about, though Or maybe it's because she thought she won.

I looked around at the towering and majestic scenery around me. I'd always had a soft spot for forests. -
(What? The satisfaction thing? Well, sometimes I think there's emotions that aren't there.)

I kept on going down the path I was making.

I took a swig of water to refresh myself. It was still cold.

Soon enough, I came across a small cliff. It wasn't a very far drop at all. And there were tree roots that made a sort of ladder. I turned around, and starred climbing down the roots.

I took one look at the sloping cliff and slid down it. I was surprised at how fast it was. It was like nature's homemade slide.

I smiled at Spice. I hadn't thought of doing it that way.

I left a cloud of dust behind me as I tore down the cliff, zipping off. I shot into the air and landed somewhat unsteadily on the ground, exhilarated.

I hopped off the last root-rung of the natural ladder.
