Aiden lifted the picnic bag. "Anyway...let's eat!"

"this really is going to be the best picnic I've ever been on." Mikan said happily.

Aiden felt pure joy swirling through him as he unpacked the food. "I don't know if I could ever feel happier."

"there's so much going right at this time." Mikan said.

"Mmhmm," Aiden said. "We can catch a break for once."
He offered her a pulled pork sandwich. -
"thank you." Mikan said taking the sandwich.

"You're welcome, my french fry," Aiden said, taking a pulled pork sandwich for himself, eating it.

Mikan ate happily, wondering what life has in store for her.

As it got darker, a thousand fireflies emerged from the woods, glowing and blinking mystically.

"wow, they're all so beautiful." Mikan whispered in amazement.

"Woah," Aiden said. They swirled around the two, as if greeting them.

"it seems like even the fireflies are attracted to you." Mikan said.

Aiden flushed. "And you as well."
A firefly landed on Mikan's hand, blinking. -
Mikan blushed lightly and looked at the firefly.

The firefly flew around Mikan before shooting up into the sky, a tiny speck of light. Aiden watched in awe.
