"I know," she said happily. "I just wanted to give you this."
She held out the shell ornament, which was shaped as a little pink dolphin. -
Apollo looked at the ornament in slight surprise before he slowly swam to the entrance before he hesitantly reached out his webbed hand towards the ornament."Why?...Why would you want to give this to me?.." He asked softly,holding onto the small gift quite carefully.

"I was hoping you'd like it," she said. "Thanks for letting me have that shell!"

"..I-I mean..I couldn't take it from you..you seemed so intrigued by the shell.." Apollo said softly,examining the beautiful ornament.

"It was nice of you anyway," Coral said, her blue hair billowing in front of her face so she had to brush it away. "Thphth. Ew, hair. Okay, I have to go to work. See you, Apollo!"

"...Nice to see you too..Little Coral.." Apollo said softly as he soon retreated back into the darkness of his cave.

Coral felt her cheeks becoming warm. He had finally got her name right! She swam right up to her boss and gave him a comical salute.
"Ay ay, captain," she said in a deep gruff voice. The merman raised an eyebrow at her.
"Station Four," he said indifferently. She frowned and swam to the indicated station. -
Apollo settled down onto his smooth,round boulder,his eyes holding a softer gaze than usual,his thumb moving over the dolphin shaped ornament,still confused as to why Coral gave it to him. But he will admit that it was quite intriguing.

Coral began to work, bored to death. She wanted to have any other job, but she continued anyway.

Apollo let out a soft sigh as he soon had curled up on his "bed",having the ornament tied around the dorsal fin of his tail. -
(She is a very suppressed child)
When her work time was finally over, she happily threw a shell necklace to her boss for the 46th time, who, also for the 46th time, dropped it into the trash.
She then swam to her cave, tying her hair up neatly and flashing her shell mirror a smile. -
Heartless boss.)
Apollo slowly swam out of his cave to try and catch some fish. -
(I know. She absolutely loves Apollo because he puts up with her, and he's nice.)
Coral tied her hair up, and remembered that sharkmaids didn't get to eat very much. She took a large pile of kelp cakes, fish, and seaweed and floated to Apollo on a picnic blanket.
"Surprise," she sang. -
Yee,Apollo's trying to warm up to her but is kinda afraid to do so cuz of what he is.)
Apollo turned around once hearing Coral's voice,his eyes fixated onto the food as his head tilted to the side a bit."What's this...?" He questioned in slight confusion and curiosity.
