"Why?" Erethien asked. "A wake up call for what?"

Draco reached down and picked up a snake he put it out in the woods " to keep me from falling asleep"

"Maybe you should've slept more instead of following me through the forest. She shook her head as if to get rid of something. She needed to go back home sometime soon. She had spent too much time with other beings. It was starting to wear on her and weaken her sensed. But she couldn't go back home.

"What if something happened to you no one would be there" said Draco

"I can take care of myself perfectly well," Erethien said.

Erethien sat next to him. "Do you know the reason I hate the Alliance?" she asked.

"I don't know why you hate the alliance "said Draco

"Because the people like the Alliance is what made Aellésmira fall." Erethien said. "The Elves grew haughty. Soon enough, they were worse than the Alliance. We lost everything. Most of our country has been taken. There is no trust among the people; no one cares for the other. There's Elven bandits now. We are not what we used to be. We will never come close to how we used to be."
