Minnowleap glanced nervously at the falling snow. "It's getting really thick," she said, as she ate her piece of fresh kill.
Thunderbolt nodded, before eating.
Drift stood in stunned silence, before traveling back to the others. -
Adder trotted over to the mouth and leaned out, turning her head this way and that. “The snows too thick,” She said when she came back in. “I can’t even see my own paws.”

Drift bounded into the cave, shivering but not from the cold. Her eyes were wide and unfocused as she curled up in her nest, where she ate her prey and fell asleep without a single word.
Minnowleap was confused. "What's wrong with her?"
Thunderbolt stared at her intently. "She's seen something." -
Adder flicked her tail. She knew these cats believed in spirit cats that watched over them, but to her, that was all a bunch of nonsense.

Drift shuddered. "I s-saw someone. Someone w-who died."
Minnowleap frowned, unsure of what to do or say. Thunderbolt curled up next to Drift and she burrowed herself against him in a very un-Drifty way, the fur on the back of her neck standing out. -
Adder wanted to snort in laughter but she knew in doing so she’d offend the others and didn’t want that.

Minnowleap brushed her tail over Drift's tense shoulder to try and relax her, before sitting at the cave entrance, watching the snow fall.

Adder tensed her shoulders as a gust of wind seeped into the walls of the cave and blew through her fur. “I really hate snow.” She thought to herself.

The same gust of wind that irritated one, refreshed another. Minnowleap looked out at the swirling snow with a deep, thoughtful expression.

Honeymoor felt slightly irritated, something was unspoken.
Raytail watched the others, feeling a bit left out. With a sigh, he lay his head down peacefully. -
Adder shivered underneath her fur before lying down, tucking her head under her paws.

Minnowleap tensed, the fur on the back of her neck standing up. Something was out there. Something alive.
"There's something out there," Minnowleap said, an edge in her voice. -
Adder looked over at Minnowleap, confused. “Like what?” She asked, straining her ears for any noise.

Thunderbolt lifted his head, his ears twitching to detect any noise. Suddenly, a cougar cub jumped on top of Minnowleap. She tried to fight it off, but the creature wasn't in a hurry.
He jumped off and coiled up, a playful expression on his face. Thunderbolt had gotten to his feet, claws unsheathed, when he saw the boisterous cub. -
Honeymoor simply lay there, stifling a purr of amusement.
Raytail leapt up in surprise.
