Misty focused hard and swirled up the portal he had made, looking thoroughly pleased with himself. Wren remember something Vaitusi had said about portals and had a sneaking suspicion.

Sgrios got up to inspect it

Wren looked at Sgrios. "Hmm? What is it?"

"Heck if i know" he said, poking at the portal

"Sgrios," Wren said slowly. "Have you ever had any children?"

Sgrios hummed in though "yeah, i had a few. As far as i know though, only two of them inherited immortality" the former god said

"Do you remember them clearly?" Wren said, as Mist gleefully curled up in her lap to receive a belly rub.

Sgrios tilted his head and looked thoughtful "most of them, yeah

"D'you think it's possible that Misty's one of them?" she said.

Sgrios' face went blank "uhhhhhhh

Wren looked incredibly embarrassed. "I mean, I was just wondering, oh God I should have kept my mouth shut, nevermind-"

Sgrios was starting to look incrisingly panicked

"Forget it," Wren said finally. Misty brushed against Sgrios' arm, looking worried.

Sgrios looked at the dog "i try to do my best to keep track of my kids, but i dont remember having any like Misty. All of my children where with Vaitusi, and most of them where reptilain in nature

"I see..," Wren said curiously. "I wonder if he could be taking after you."
