"What is that?" Wren said, bending down to pet Adolpha.

Adolpha purred softly as she licked Wren's cheek,her tail wagging slowly.

"I need you to trap Sgrios." Vaitusi said seriously.

Wren froze. "No!" she snapped immediately. She took a deep breath. "I mean, why?"

Adolpha whimpered softly as she licked Wren's cheek in a comforting way.

Vaitusi sighed and shifted his coils. "To stop the spread of corruption once and for all. In order to spread the corruption needs a seed. Anyone who has been corrupted, or has beem around tge corruption for a long time carrys this seed." Vaitusi explained, before Ci-Annifyr appeared next to him "once you have Sgrios trapped, i can preform a ritual to remove the seed from Sgrios and seal it here permanently, so that it cant spread any more" the dog said

"What are you saying? Will Sgrios be alright? And don't bother lying to me, I can tell when people are lying. Or gods, for that matter."

"Im....not sure" Ci-Annifyr said, glancing at Vaitusi to see a worried look on the nagas face. "It wont kill him, i can guaranty you that" the canine continued

"That won't matter if his soul is gone or something, will it?" Wren said, her temper bubbling up. "I'm sick of this, this prejudice against Sgrios. You don't know him like I do! I'm not just going to betray him for you!"

Ci-Annifyr sighed. "Trust me when i say Vaitusi and i are the last people who would ever hurt Sgrios." He said, scrapping a paw against the ground, "We only want to free him from the curse that is his 'job'"
Vaitusi had started looking upset, the fins on his tail opening and closing -
"Mistress..I think we should do it.." Adolpha said softly as her ears lowered.

Wren felt fury bubbling inside of her. She wanted to say no. She wanted to fight. She didn't know where all this pent up anger came from, but she knew it wasn't right to pin it on anyone else.
"Okay, I'll do it. But you have to promise to do your best." -
Ci-Annifyr nodded "i will" he said before vanishing. Vaitusi sighed quietly and then he turned and started slithering away "here, the exits this way

Adolpha followed after Vaitusi."I-I have a question....Who gave me my name and how am I special than the other hounds of my kind?"She said softly.
