Wren was very confused. She was full of questions but knew that it would probably be smarter to keep her mouth shut.

Žetelac noticed. "what questions do you have, mortal?" -
"What is the serpent's core?" Wren blurted out.

Žetelac's eyelights vanished for a moment. "it is where gods go when they die." he said after a moment of silence before he stopped. "continue down this path. It will take you to the core" he said before he turned to leave

"Why do you think that Ci-Annifyr told me to go there?" Wren whispered to Adolpha.

"No idea..but we have to head there.." Adolpha said softly as she walked ahead of Wren,leading her down the path.

Žetelac vanished after he walked back up the path. As the pair continued the landscape changes, becoming rocky with large spires of crystal

Adolpha then had grew to be seven feet tall as she soon had Wren on her back,continuing to walk forward.

Wren held on to Adolpha tightly, not wanting to impale herself on one of the crystals.
'Like it'd matter. You're already dead, you walnut,' she thought. She stifled her laugh in Adolpha's fur. -
Soon they arived at a large spiralling structure with glowing crystals scattered across its surface, and a larhe entrance

Adolpha eyed the staircase before she rolled her eyes and teleported to the top.

Wren felt a rush of wind and saw that they'd teleported. She held on a bit tighter.

If I had the power of teleportation,My life would be so much better heh.)
