Wren held Adolpha tightly, as Ray growled, his eyes flashing.
"Very well," the spider said. His front legs were similar to lobster claws, and with these he lunged at Sgrios. -
Sgrios vanished with a crackle of lightning, reappearing a split second letter behind the thing. He glowed brightly as lightning arched off his body and he pulled a small metal object out of a pocket. A bolt struck it from his hand and the object shot forward with the power of a rail gun, easily piercing the creatures carapace

The spider brushed it away, before catching Sgrios in one of his heavy claws.

Sgrios hisses and teleported again, appearing by its other claw. He then grabbed it and twisted, loud cracking sounds filling the air

The spider slashed at Sgrios' legs.

Sgrios let it hit him, the force letting him rip off the claw he was griping

The spider, undaunted, prepared to reveal his great trick. As they watched, new claws began to sprout out of the bleeding stumps, and they became larger and tougher than ever.

Sgrios just looked annoyed before he started bludgening the tging with its own claw

The spider laughed. "You can never beat me. Not even with myself. Better to give up now."

"Of piss off" Sgrios snarled before he lept up onto her back

Adolpha slowly moved from her mother's side before she shifted into giant python,soon coiling tightly around the spider and ripped off the tail.

A drop of blood fell from the stump and suddenly, with a dark flash, the spider was gone. Coils of thick black smoke wrapped around their legs as voices murmured ancient incantations.

Sgrios hissed and tried to pull them off the others, wrapping his magic around them in a protective barrier

Wren sucked in her breath. "Didn't that thing say something about a curse?"

"Pretty sure yeah" Sgrios hissed
