Myriad watched in worry

Suddenly, Belladonna began to blink. Then, she sat up, coughing and spluttering.
"Well, I'm back. I said I'd explain everything, didn't I? That would suggest that I would be alive, didn't it?" she said happily, brushing herself off. -
Screech burst into tears. He knew she might be alive but the pure shock when he heard she died was enough to set him into such a state of greif. "Thank God you're actually alive!" Screech yelled giving Belladonna a hug "don't scare me like that again!" Screech yelled.

Myriad quickly hugged both of them

"I did die, actually. Poison," she managed to squeak out. "Thank God you guys administered the antidote in time. It felt like forever."
She squeezed both of them tightly.
"Alright, you want an explanation?" -
"yes please explain why you just died." Screech said.

Myriad whimpered in pain when he was squeezed but nodded in agreement

Belladonna took a deep breath and began to explain. "I saw who shot me before I died, and it was your friend, Screech, the one who had been in the library. It looked like he was aiming for you, but missed. I could be wrong. Anyway, I knew that we were being watched. So, I faked my own death. Now, they won't expect that I'm still alive."

"Cato." Screech said. "I think that he's not my friend. He's a hawker." (Pretty much the northerners who are in gangs). Screech finally understood why Cato stayed his friend. "He was planning my death the whole time." He whispered to himself.

Myriad picked at the scabs on his fingers "what do we do now" he asked quietly

"I don't know. All I know is that he tried to kill you, Screech. We have to be careful. Hopefully my death and disappearance is causing a large flurry and will buy us time."

"i think we should find out who's eavesdropping on our conversation." Screech said. He noticed this a few minutes ago because he heard someone moving.

Myriad froze and started tugging at his hood as he looked around
