Belladonna put a hand on Myriad's shoulder, and spoke to them both.
"It's going to be okay. People are coming to help, so we have to stay calm. Alright?" Belladonna said, digging in her bag. She pulled out some salve and put it on Screech's wounds, then rewrapped them. -
Screech wasn't going to talk anymore. That would kill him faster. But he decided to say one last thing. "It's not so bad to possibly die if it means you two are happy." Screech said with a smile.

"I wouldnt be happy!" Myriad said, clearly distressed. "You'd be dead!

"Screech, don't say that! It's not true," Belladonna said. -

Screech was sure he wasn't going to make it hearing them say that made him want to survive. But he was losing consciousness as he fell asleep he heard sirens in the distance. -
Myriad shook him gently to try to keep him awake

Belladonna quietly kissed his cheek and, lifting his head up, hugged him tightly. The ambulance arrived and pulled him onto a rolling tray and allowed Myriad and Belladonna to stay with him.
