"You see long ago when the goddesses roamed the earth with humans, the snow goddess Elra tried to freeze the humans, but the fire goddess yune fell in love with a human and gave them fire to protect her human lover. Elra soon found out about it and sent snow spirits to destroy the fire, but they soon found out if they threw ashes they would be safe so that's why it's customary to throw ashes in the middle of the floor of the house so Yune is honored and so the spirits don't return." Myriad looked curious and nodded in understanding

"That's so intriguing," Belladonna said. "Is there anything el-"
She was interrupted by a door swinging open furiously. Easter stormed out of the building, slamming the door sharply behind her. -
"oh hey Easter." Screech said.

Muriad flinched at the door slamming, hugging himself

"She didn't take the news of Wester's passing very well," Prism said solemnly, returning to the group.
Belladonna felt an uncomfortable squirm of guilt in her stomach and pushed the plate of cake away. "Excuse me," she said, before exiting the building. Once outside, she clambered up a tree, clutching to a branch. She felt oddly dizzy. -
Myriad looked concerned as belladonna left before he got up and followed her

Screech quickly eggscused himself to see what was wrong.

Belladonna closed her eyes and took deep breaths. She loosened her grip on the tree a little, easing her tense muscles.

"Bella are you ok?" Myriad asked worriedly

"No," Belladonna admitted. "We're the ones that killed Wester."

"well, remember what he did." Screech said, he unconsciously traced his small scar from being stabbed

"He was trying to kill us. It was self defence." Myriad said

"I know," Belladonna said, sliding down the tree. "But we should tell them."

Screech looked at the ground. He was afraid that his family would think he was a monster of he told them.
