"but you guys trusted me with their safety and they died anyway." Screech said.

Cross shook his head "you didnt kill them. You tried your best, so its not your fault
Myriad blinked at her for a moment before he looked back at his notebook and started drawing her -
"Exactly," Easter said. "Don't blame yourself, Screech."
Belladonna began molding some snow into a snow puppy. -
"okay." Screech said. He kind of felt his guilt drip away.

Myriad smiled as he glanced at her, still drawing

Belladonna poked eyeholes for the dog. "Snow pupper," she said in a quiet voice.

Nori had an idea. "Hey screech, why don't we come see you in the mainlands some other time?" Nori said hoping to see what was so dangerous about it.

Myriad heard her and giggled softly

"Nori," Prism said warningly.
Belladonna laughed and threw a small handful of snow at him. -
"th-thats a really bad idea." Screech said shakily.

Cross frowned at that. "How so?
Myriad squeaked when he was hit by the snow, standing to brush it off -
Easter buried her face in her hands, stressed for Screech.
Belladonna made the snow pupper a snow hat. -
"just look at what happened to us in the north! If you guys go down there I could lose you too." Screech said

"We can defend ourselfs" Cross assured
Myriad put his notebook away -
Prism nodded. "Don't worry about us."
Belladonna folded her arms around herself to keep the chill away. "I don't think I've ever seen so much snow," she said, awe touching her voice.
