Myriad visiably became more nervous, pulling at his hood "i dont think so

"If you're sure," Belladonna said, tearing out the pages with her writing on it and handing the notebook back to him. "I'll buy you two notebooks later."

Screech watched wondering why myriad didn't like his art.

"You dont need to do that" myriad said quietly as he took his notebook back

"I want to," Belladonna said firmly.

"come on myriad, just let bell do something nice for you." Screech said.

Myraid started scratching at his hand. "Ok" he said quietly, clearly uncomfortable

Belladonna, now satisfied, reviewed her notes on Northern culture.

Screech thought about how his father always told him tests didn't matter when he was little.

Myriad pulled his knees to his chest

"How many days has it been since that day in the library?" Belladonna said, thinking.

"I don't really know." Screech said.

Myriad hummed softly "5 i think?"

"Hmm. It feels like a year ago," she said.

"wait, you mean we killed someone twice and escaped death, in less than a week!?" Screech exclaimed.
