Sammy only blinked at the story... "Welll... Looks like we are going to die..." He said calmly getting off the bed and gathering his things.

Andrew shared Sammy's point of view. He set his bag on the bed and began to pace the length of the room, thinking about this new information.

"Well, I don't think we're exactly going to die," Rasia said, after she recovered from the long onslaught of listening to Kenna. "We have a week to try and get back, but I don't think there's a way back.
"Or you could go to where all the freaks are," Kenna offered, "The ones that didn't get any powers." -
Andrew found a sturdy pipe and hung on it, swinging a little.
"Yeah, that's probably a good idea." -
"Freaks?" Vanessa stopped short. Memories flashed through her mind. Friends at school bullying her, calling her a freak for liking girls. Her brother's girlfriends giving her dirty looks as she walked by in the hallway. The look she got from her parents when she argued with government officials.
"You think we're freaks, huh?"

Sammy looked at Vanessa "being here in the Queen's house doesn't seem like the best idea and they have powers. We don't... What do you think we should do?" He asked her concerned

Andrew shot Vanessa a "not now" sort of look, who seemed angry because of Kenna's tactless choice of words.

"Well let me tell you one thing, Kenna. We're the survivors, the ones who made it out ALIVE. You had your ancestors to save you. We? We have nobody. You? You have your powers to help you out. Us? We survive on the thin layer of skin we still have. So before you call us freaks, think again," Vanessa said, going out the door.
"No one follow me, I'm going on a walk around the kingdom, familiarize myself." -
Andrew sighed. Wandering alone around a bunch of hostile superhuman beings while angry probably wasn't a good idea.
"Mind if I join you? We don't have to talk, but I..," he said, choosing his words carefully. "I was thinking about looking around too. I want to see things for myself." -
Vanessa blushed a little due to the fact that a boy wanted to protect her.
"Sure I guess." -
Sammy sat back down "I'm going to stay with Rasia" he turned to face her. "Unless you want to follow too? But I'm going to stay here." He soon pulled out a few essential items.

Andrew opened the door for Vanessa, relieved.
"Ladies first," he said in a ridiculous accent.
