“I’m not super sure. I guess ChameleonLeap was obsessed with ‘unique’ warrior cat names at the time. That’s probably why her name’s ChameleonLeap. Strange, huh?”

Sunspot nodded. "I like unique names. My leader likes names that make words, like Waterfall, or Sunset, or something like that."

PineappleClaw nodded, “What clan are you in anyways?”

"Oakclan," Sunspot said. "I've been in a lot of clans, actually."

PineappleClaw nodded, “I’d consider myself a rogue now.”

"Oh? And why is that?" Sunspot said, grooming herself.

“For reasons I don’t want to talk about.” PineappleClaw said, averting Sunspots gaze and suddenly feeling grumpy.

"I see," Sunspot said, examining her paw. "So when do you think Blazespot (or Brackenspot, I can't remember) will wake up?"

“I don’t know. Hopefully he didn’t dream of anything as wretched as what I did.” PineappleClaw said, giving herself a bit of a grooming.

"Hmm," Sunspot mused. "I didn't have a great dream either." -
“What was it about? Fire destroying the clan?”

"It was nothing," Sunspot snapped, before softening. "Sorry. I'm just not used to...this kind of thing."

PineappleClaw nodded, understanding sparkling in her eyes, “It’s fine.”

"I dreamed that a badger approached us, trying to attack. I jumped on it and attacked it first, told you guys to run, and...it all went dark," Sunspot said, not mentioning her suspicion. What if she really did die in the rancid cave, with her friends unable to help her? She wasn't even aware of when they'd become her friends. Maybe they weren't.

PineappleClaw nodded slightly to show that she was acknowledging Sunspot’s dream. “That’s odd. Most of my dreams are about someone else dying, not myself.”
