Outside, droplets of rain fell one by one, almost in a rhythmic pattern. Gradually, they picked up their pace until it was pouring. With a heavy sigh, the golden-haired Elise pulled out her umbrella. She struggled to open it at first, but soon it popped right open. She felt as if it could carry her away across the sky, maybe to some sort of fantasy land— only in her dreams. It was Elise’s first day at her new boarding school. The location was near London and the sights were pleasing to her eyes, but the thunder rumbling in the distance was not. The heels of Elise’s boots clicked against the cobblestone as she hurried across the campus and into the main building. When she closed the door behind her, she closed the umbrella, putting it away again. She was practically panting, but she looked in front of her. Before Elise was a group of three students. She thought they must be touring her or something. -
"Hello," Alex said, walking up to her. "You're Elise, aren't you? We're just here to show you around the place." She seemed to be nice girl. Her eyes weren't full of venom for other people, and she didn't really seem like the type that would lash out at a person unless it hit one of her sore spots. "I'm Alex."

Hazard eyed the girl with interest, studying her. Finally, he stepped toward her, still studying her.
"I'm Hazard," he said, extending his hand. -
Jackal looked at the girl for a moment before she averted her gaze to the floor,shifting from one foot to the other."J-Jackalin Hunter is my name...But I prefer Jackal for short.." She spoke in a low tone.

Reagan walked passed the group, eyeing them. Who was that girl with them? She must be new. Reagan got closer, but kept her distance.

Elise shook the boy’s hand. Hazard, what a strange name. She glanced over to Alex, whose name was obviously more ordinary. “Mhm, that’s me,” she closed her eyes as she spoke, then opened them again. Their eyes felt strange on her, but Elise shrugged it off. It was just her anxiety for the day ahead, right? -
"Let us give you a guided tour of the school," Alex said. "Where should we go first?" Then after a moment, ha answered his own question. We'll go from most important to least important. Cafeteria first. You need to eat, otherwise you get sick."

Hazard nodded, and began to sketch something. He saw a girl out of the corner of his eye, and began to sketch her, trying to remember what she looked like. She looked quite interesting. He hoped to meet her later.
