why don't you just let anyone join at anytime, that's how people usually do one word stories here

Because then you have to change up the order all the time when someone wants to joing in the middle of a story. It's less trouble if you know who's joining for each story at the beginning of it. I'm hoping to have multiple stories in here, so different people can join at the start of each one.

My friends and I have always done it with an order so that no one does't not have a say in how the story goes.
