Gambler didn't respond , he looked sick and worn-out. "....."

Shatter was starting to panic as he shifted to his humanoid form

Gambler was holding something in his hand , his body looking limb and pale. he didn't move, he didn't breathe..

Shatter shook him as the crystals in the array flickered wildly "gambler!

Gambler breathed slowly and weakly opened his eyes, he coughed hard. "i-im s-so s-sorry.." he spoke weakly.

"nononono" shatter said before he placed hos hands on gamblers chest and started trying to heal him, the crystals at the outer edges of the array turning black and crumbling away as he drew power from them

"s-stop..s-shatter..it's okay..." Gambler coughed, forcing him to stop. Gambler kisses shatter on the lips. "i l-love you.." , soon his body stopped..

Shatter started crying as he continued trying to heal him

Gambler wasn't fully gone , soon armed men stormed in as my mask fell on the ground. Shatter felt a cold hug, he felt a familiar presence.

Shatter looked up at then and then snarled angrilly as he rapidly shifted to his wyvern form and screamed, the sound amplified by the dieing crystals above him

Gambler soon gasped for air and weakly hugged shatter, for once he was scared. He didn't know what to do without him. "g-go away.." Gambler studdered.

Shatter drew his head back and screamed again before he started blasting plasma at the intruders

Gambler hid his face into shatter's neck and whined.

Shatter didnt appear to notice him, his strings starting to turn red as he continued killing the intuders. Once they where dead he flared his wings, knocking Gambler away, and flew out of the temple with another scream

"S-shatter.." Gambler said before he passed out.
