Erratum gave his friend a flat look before he walked closer to the humans so he could get a better look at them

Armargosa followed Erratum but kept his distance from the humans.

Rose put her head on her knees and closed her eyes. This was it. She was going to die.

Cade stood their ground and shivered as the two monsters looked at them and Rose. "Pleeeeease don't hurt us!"

Erratum stared at the humans blankly "I'm not going to hurt you" he said before using his wing to gesture to the path behind them "did the exit collapse?

Armargosa said to the blue haired human "I won't hurt you if you don't hurt me first." He then looked at the path and said "It looks like it, and it doesn't look like those rocks are gonna budge."

Rose looked up. "You're.. you're not gonna hurt us?" she asked, backing up a little. She closed her eyes and uttered a quick prayer of thanks.

Cade nodded. "We came in from a building up on the mountain. For whatever reason the stairwell caved in. Can you help us?" They asked, still adjusting to the idea if monsters that spoke English existing.

Erratums wings drooped at her reply. "s---." He said before ruffling his feathers and pulling his good wing against his back "Well seeing as all of us have the same goal, then yeah we could help ypu" he said

Armargosa said "Wait, how do you know their goal is the same as ours?" he then thought about it and said "Oh right, your telepathy." Armargosa didn't really want to help the humans, but he figured he could pretend to be friendly and keep at the ready if they betrayed them.

Rose stood up a little and said, "I'm Rose. And, uh, it's... nice to meet you?" She was still shaking, but she was starting to stop.

Cade stood up with Rose and grabbed her arm. "I'm Cade. And wait, did you just say telepathy? Is that really something you can do?"

Erratum shuffled his feet, looking a little sheepish. " um. Yeah. Sorry if you find it creepy, I don't really know how to turn it off yet " he said before pausing "oh, my names Erratum, nice to meet you

"I am Armargosa, and that's all you need to know." Armargosa said. He then scratched his face, due to some sudden itchiness.

Rose smiled. "Hi." she said. She grabbed Cade and walked toward Armagosa and Erratum.
