"So... We're staying." She took the bag of trail mix from Destiny and opened it up, shoving a handful into her mouth. "God, I've hardly eaten anything. This is kinda crazy, y'know, moving all day, barely sleeping at night.... I slept in a dumpster the other night." She tried to pull a smile as she looked around at her new companions.

i know i'm a bit late but can i join as well, i havent roleplayed in years
-
Aye yo, "The Dude" you can join my roleplay titled "Roleplay Request"?
-
If you don't, fine with me.
-
(Is DontSmileAtMe active???)
-
Sorry. I'm here.
@The Dude if everyone else is alright with that, then sure.)
Hailey nodded her head, pushing herself up to her feet and looking around at the shelves, some knocked over, turning to the others. "Let's just hope for the best then.." She said with a small shrug. Putting the bag of trail mix she waa given on a shelf for later. "Thanks." She said to Destiny, with a smile. -
Jason said "Yeah." He then grabbed more seeds from the shelf and put them in his pocket. He then said "I wonder if there are others that may have survived this apocalypse."
-
(I'm alright with the dude joining!!)
"No problem," Destiny smiles at Hailey. "And- oh my gosh- same here!" Destiny turns to Dalton, referring to when she said she has slept in a dumpster. "I've also slept under a car, in a box, on a tree, and on a broken firescape- that last one was hard, I had to climb up and I had to leave my hockey sticks in a nearby trash can cause I couldn't bring them with me," Destiny says.
Jamal replies to Jason. "Probably.. actually, I'm sure people have survived, I just don't think anyone is left in the city. From what I could see of the news before the power went out is that we were hit the hardest," Jamal says. -
Jamal's statement caught Dalton's attention. "Really? There's no way we were hit the hardest. It's gotta be like... NYC or something."
(Might be less active for a bit, just used up all my data :/) -
(Since I'm last in the posting order I think if The Dude wants to join now would be a good place for his entrance)
-
"I hope others have managed to survive as well." Hailey said, looking up to the ceiling, praying they werent alone. "I'm sure of it... I mean, we have? So far, anyway. Right?" She added, shrugging her shoulders.
-
"Don't be so negative, dude. There will always be light at the end of the tunnel." Jason said. He then heard what Hailey said and said "See, positivity. That and survival skill is what's gonna keep up alive." He then left to see if there was a fishing pole somewhere in this store.

"We can always keep hope," Destiny says, trying to lift everyone's spirits. She skates around in a few circles, excited at conversating after so many hard and gruesome days of isolation and survival.
Jamal grimaces. "Sorry for being so negative, Jae, but can you blame me? I'm just trying to be cautious. Let's say there are alive people left in this city after all- then what have they become? Don't you know that most stories featuring the apocalypse portrays humans as vile and quickly turned animalistic, and the stories aren't entirely wrong. And..." Jamal clears his throat, "We have girls in this group here. What if we meet a gang of guys, or cannibals who haven't eaten for days, or people who want to r-reproduce, or satisfy their 'urges'?" Jamal shudders. "I was keeping up with the news whenever I could, I don't know why exactly, but we were definitely hit the hardest," Jamal reaffirms Dalton. -
Dalton shoots Jamal a look. "I don't know why you think finding other people would be bad with chicks in the group. I don't know about you, but I definitely think she could take out a few guys on her own." She says, nodding at Destiny. "But I agree. We shouldn't go out of our way to find other people. We're safer as a small group. Faster. I think we should either hide this thing out or try to find whatever stronghold there is. There's gotta be one."
