Shadow stood in front of a shack that was on fire Whatching the blaze

Jeff stood just out of Shadow’s line of sight. He didn’t think anyone new would show up. Not this early at least. I wonder what he’s doing here...besides arson related activities; of course. The thought shot through his mind faster than he thought. For now, he would wait, and see what the young boy would do next.

Shadow started to turn and started to walk away but collapsed do to events happening before the fire

Jeff watched the boy collapse and stood there for a moment. He could either leave him there (which would be the viable option, or he could take him to where him and Toby were currently staying. Jeff sighed and walked over, grunting as he lifted the boy up, and carried him to their home.

Shadow was still unconscious due to being shot with a tranquilizer dart that effect was delayed

As Jeff walked up to the house, Toby ran out. “What the f--- is this?!?” he said, frantically. Jeff looked at Toby. “It seems to be he is one of us. He just wasn’t discovered until now.”
