Erratum frowned as he watched the scene unfold before he just shook his wings and headed for the library

Day 1: Monday, 8:33 AM
"I'm well aware of your tendency to try and liven things up a bit, JD," Mr. Rune says, with almost a hint of a smile. "However, you seemed to be in the mindset that since your father is the devil, you're allowed to do whatever you want. That's not how things work around here," Mr. Rune says as he finally sets down Ms. Dotley. "Thank you for apologizing, Mothman. Though it's not your apology to make, I appreciate the gesture."
Rosalind realizes that the teachers did indeed take care of it, by the sound of screeches that seemed to have died down. She didn't really wanna be here, she wasn't much a fan of books- oh my gosh was that an engineering section? Rosalind flings herself toward the bookshelves and starts leafing through the pages. "Oh my Gosssh Ray, there's a whole book about quantum mechanics! I'm in heaven!" Rosalind says. Ms. Derotta gives her a hard look, which Rosalind takes as a sign to be quieter. Raynne sits at a table, a stack of books in her hands, all on various topics.
Desdemona decides to go to her dorm and set down her luggage before exploring the school. She follows along the map on the student packet, opting to not ask anyone for help or directions. -
JD sighs. “ I know. I’ve been here like seven times at this point.” They say referring to that fact that they keep getting de-aged. “ it’s just my nature isn’t to sit around and let things be peaceful.” They said with an apologetic shrug.
Lucinda found her room and began to use her powers to decorate. She smiled brightly.
Moth man sighed. “ this is the kind of stuff that made it so we can’t be roommates any more.” They say giving Jd a look.
“You dropped me out of a window Mothy!” They counter -
Mineko was unable to find Rosalind but she was able to find the room they would be in. She didn't have much in the way of decorations, all she really had was a picture of her father. She set that next to her bed to see it.
Charlie and Ryker made it to their room and Ryker was the one to put decorations on it. It was mostly flame decals and various pictures of dragons, as if people needed reminders of what they were. -
Erratum arived at the library and started walking around, keeping his wings tucked flat against his back to avoid bumping into anything. He noticed some others in the library, but didnt bother them as he wandered over to the history section

Day 1: Monday, 8:42 AM
Rosalind happily flips through the books, soaking up the information. She didn't notice the newcomer enter. She walks up to the librarian. "Can I check some of these out?" Rosalind asks. Ms Derotta shakes her head no and points at the card checkout. "Oh, I don't have a library card yet. I'm assuming I'll get one during class tomorrow, then?" Rosalind asks. Ms Derotta nods her head. Raynne hears this conversation but doesn't make a move to return her stack of books, probably planning on staying there for hours.
"Nature or not, you know you'll have to be punished, JD. I would say detention, but I don't think it'll be fun for the other students there if you try to take over again. Perhaps community service. After lunch, go into the kitchen to help wash dishes," Mr. Rune says.
Desdemona successfully finds her dorm room. Her roommate didn't seem to be there, but their bags were. Desdemona moves them over with her wand and claims the half of the room where the big window was. First come, first serve, after all. -
“ yeah that’s fair...except do you really want me anywhere near the kitchen?” They ask raising an eyebrow.
“ sir, no offence but i’d probably fill the room with steam. Couldn’t I just help in the library again?” JD asks as if that wasn’t their plan the whole time.

Mothman ruffled Jd’s hair before they went to go find their new roommate. They hoped they wouldn’t be too annoyed about the sudden switch.

Lucinda looked up wondering when her roommate was going to arrive. -
Erratum heard the conversation and glanced over at them before he picked out a book and curled up in a chair to read it

Charlie pulled out a small TV he had brought and Ryker said "Do you do anything beside watch TV?" Charlie said "Like what?" "Like go outside and meet people?" Ryker answered. Charlie retorted "When the Crystal Gems and Steven become real people, then I'll do that." Ryker just sighed. -

Day 1: Monday, 8:51 AM
Rosalind groans and returns the engineering book. She looks over her packet again, and decides that Fighting was the only interesting class. She also looks at her dorm number and her roommate's name, and snaps her hand like she just found out something. "Ohh, I forgot to show off my weapon! Raynne, I'm gonna go back to my dorm. Later, I'll probably be at the gym fighting some upperclassmen if you wanna find me! Remember to socialiiiize!" Rosalind is off, waving as she elongates the i in socialize. Ms Derotta is giving her the death glare as she leaves, not enjoying how much she's talking; while Raynne gives her a little smile, knowing that that was classic Rosalind.
"Hmm.. I suppose you're right. Fine, you can help Ms Derotta sort through some of the new books. Make sure to not burn anything, and listen to whatever she tells you," Mr. Rune says, a small smile appearing on his face again. He knew for a fact that Derotta never spoke. Mr Rune seemed to be a chill assistant principal, making small jokes that you wouldn't even notice if you weren't paying attention.
Erica peeks slowly and curiously into the dorm room. She was absolutely terrified, she had never lived so far away from her parents before. On one of the beds she met eyes with Lucinda, and Erica ducked away and back into the hall with an "eek!"
Mothman's roommate, Caspian, a triton, was standing on top of one of the beds. He had beaten Mothman to the dorm room and had already adorned the walls with pictures of mermaid pinups. He seemed to be hooking up some kind of glow in the dark light system. Everything he did seemed to be a dramatic pose, and every move he made seemed to have a sound effect, like a bad old-timey commercial. From one glance you could see that he was very extroverted and princelike. -
Mothman’s eyes twitched. “ Caspian. No.” They say simply as they start taking down the glow in the dark lights.
“I sent you that email. I explained, we can’t have lights in the room after dark. For devils sake.”
Mothman scowled as spike appeared.
“...no not you.” They sigh.

JD seemed to find hat amusing, the truth was, Jd adored helping in the library, but there was no way they’d actually admit this. That’s crazy talk.
“ welll...I should go decorate my room bye.” JD says as they teleport.

“ Hii! I’m Lucinda!” The witch said as she poked her head out to meet her roommate. “ it’s ncie to meet you! Erica right?” -
Ryker decided to leave Charlie to his TV and walked out of the dorm to go outside. It's been a while since he stretched his wings and he figured he should get at least a little exercise. He walked out, found a spot that looked like it was for flying creatures and transformed. Once in dragon form he began to fly.

Erratum blinked at Rosalind as she left before he ruffled his feathers and returned to his book, his canine feet hanging over the arm of the chair
