Please don’t skip me, I’ll be responding when I get home from school

“ well actually, JD and I aren’t really men.” Mothman chuckled gently, however they didn’t correct any of the other information not wanting to crush this girls enthusiasm this early.
“ JD is the jersey devil.” They elaborate on their previous comment. “ you’ll find most of the super specific rules are there’s because of them, and any graffiti you come across? Probably them too.”
“ Are you interested in cryptids then?” They ask desdemona curiously

“ they’re candy mice.” JD said. “ ...don’t eat too many, you know what will happen.” The surprisingly responsible sibling warns Lucinda who does the bla bla bla motion.
“ yeah yeah, denizens of hell, I got it.” She says as she bites on in half before letting erratum have the packet, -
Mineko was now incredibly curious and wanted to know more about these cryptids. She wondered is her father knew about them.
Ryker and Charlie looked into their student packets and looked at their dorm numbers. Turns out they would be roommates, not that it was a surprise considering they were related. -
Wraith blinked in confusion as she shook his hand before he nodded at raynne in response to her waving. He looked at his packet to see what dorm he would be in and with who, tilting his head
Erratum took the candy and pulled one of the mice out, examining it before he started nibbling at it curiously, his tail feathers twitching -
Day 1: Monday, 8:09 AM
Raynne listens to the principal's speech before eyeing her packet, trying to make out who her roommate would be. "Mini- Myneck- Mineko Titanus," she reads. "Hmm. Weird name. Maybe a Korean origin?" She asks no one in particular. "Japanese," Raynne corrects her quietly.
"Not just cryptids, of course. I know a little about every creature," Desdemona says, readying herself for the grand reveal, "I actually skipped a grade. I was just too advanced for my peers, so they bunked me up to the high school portion of the school."
".. After mingling in the main hall, everyone can make their way to the dorms and get acquainted with each other before going to lunch. You're free to roam the halls, meet your teachers, and explore the campus. Classes will start tomorrow. If you have any inquiries, talk to the guidance counselors," Ms. Graves motions towards Ms. Gard and Ms. Geranetta. Ms. Graves then leaves the stage as quickly as she'd came on it. -
“ yes well, I don’t want to keep you, unless you’d like me to show you around.” They offer.
“ that’s very interesting. I only started attending because Jd went and got themselves de-aged. Apparently every time They’ve done it Satan sends them right back here,” they chuckle.

JD scoots away and inches closer and closer to the smoke detectors.
You see before they had left for summer, they had set up a prank that could only be set off by the smoke alarm so they light their hand on fire, waiting for it to happen.
They set a bunch of screech gargoyle eggs up. Not anything dangerous just loud and annoying.

Lucinda giggled as her hair turned green for ten seconds before turning back. “ they’re like wild magic. Random stuff happens when you eat them.” She says happily. -
Mineko said "Wow, you must be really smart, Dezzy. I wish I was that smart. But I guess this also means we won't be roommates." She then remembered to look in her packet and saw her roommate's name was. It was apparently Rosalind, with no last name.

Erratum blinked "wild magic?" he asked before a flock of butterflys and flower petals appeared around him. He stared at them for several seconds in confusion
Wraith hummed and then walked off to go check out his dorm -
Day 1: Monday, 8:14 AM
Rosalind waves goodbye to Wraith as she turns to go check out the rest of the school. Raynne follows suit, with nothing else much better to do. "I think.. library.. second floor..?" Raynne mutters quietly. "Wanna go to the library, then? Wow, I haven't heard you talk this much in forever!" Rosalind says encouragingly. Quite the socialite, she high fives random passerby as the walk.
"A de-aging process for the Jersey Devil?! How insteresting! Darn, I wish I'd taken out my notebook," Desedemona looks helplessly at her floating luggage. "Anywho, I suppose it doesn't matter. It's sad that we can't be in the same room, Mineko.. but I suppose we should part so that we can unpack and meet our roommates. Promise me we'll all sit together at lunch," Desdemona smiles at Mothman and Mineko. "I'd love to meet this JD as well-" Desdemona starts, but is interrupted by the smoke alarm, followed by a bunch of screeching sounds. -
Lucinda sighed as she covered her ears. “ I’m going to go find Moth,” Lucinda told erratum before she went to go find Mothman so she could leave.
JD was cackling nearby. Clearly the little s--- thought this was hilarious. “ oh god, I can’t believe the teachers didn’t search the vents.” They coughed. “I said I hid a prank and I’d set it off if I wasn’t stopped.” -
(Kat, why do you keep saying Day 1 in all your posts. Is it really necessary? I'm not annoyed, I'm just curious.)
Mineko said "Okay, see you later." Then the alarms went off and screeching was heard. She closed her ears and said "IS THIS SOME SORT OF TEST?" -
Erratum winced at the loud screeching and ruffled his feathers in annoyance as he tried to look around for the source

(Down the line later, it'll be helpful to have kept track of the days. It also helps to keep everyone from timeskipping without warning. That was a major problem in the old roleplay, and I'm doing everything I can to fix the old problems and show how much I've improved :D Probably not necessary, I could easily keep track of time on a notebook or something, but I think it's better to have a visual everyone in the rp can see)
Day 1: Monday, 8:20 AM
Raynne and Rosalind reach the library, just as screeching could be heard from the main hall, even with how far away they were. "Should I check that out?" Rosalind asks, her hand inching towards her pocket. She lowers it when she realizes that her weapon wasn't even on her. Raynne doesn't seem too bothered by it and begins to quietly roam the shelves. The only other person in there was Ms. Derotta, the librarian. Rosalind sighs. "You guys are no help," she says as she sits down in a chair coolly. She supposed she'd stay there. The teachers would take care of it, right?
"Oh dear, oh dear," Mr Trubbz says, looking around at the choas. The students were confused and frightened, especially the newcomers. He looks at the teacher next to him, Ms. Dotley, for instructions on how to handle this.
After a quick scan of the room, Ms Dotley locates the laughing demon. "You!" Ms. Dotley yells, a yell loud enough to be heard past the screeching. She runs towards the student, claws extending, teeth sharpening, and dragon tail getting bigger. Her appearance earned many squeaks as students scrambled to get out of her path. Midway through, she suddenly starts to float. "What's the meaning of this?!" She says.
"You're an administrator now Ms Dotley, it's only your first day and already you're trying to tear apart a student," Mr. Rune, the assistant principal, says calmly. He walks into the main hall, holding up a hand that seemed to be the cause of Ms Dotley's floating. "For heaven's sake, Trubbz and Penny, please take care of those gargaoyle eggs," he instructed. They nodded and got on it right away. "As for you, young man, you'll some explaining to do," Mr. Rune says to JD with a frown.
"It's not a test Mineko, just some student trying to show off on the first day!" Desdemona says loudly as she covers her ears as well. She could barely hear the teachers, but from what she could see, Mr. Rune seemed to be handling things. Ms. Dotley was floating, now back in her humanish form, with some steam coming from her mouth as she pouted. Mr Trubbz and Penny worked well together and quickly collected the eggs, she darted around the vents as he gave her instructions on how to handle the eggs. She easily picked them up with her strength and threw them down so he could collect them. -
JD raised an eyebrow. “ it’s young devil thank you very much.” They say dryly. “ It’s just a bit of harmless fun. It’s not like I used screech demons, just gargoyles. Annoying, but harmless. Everyone’s so anxious, and that’s totally killing the mood you know.”
Mothman sighs as they come up behind JD.
“ sir, I apologise I was supposed to be watching them but I went to go get our information packets, clearly they are less mature than I thought they were.” Mothman says flicking JD on the forehead.
“ but sir, at least it’s a step-up from last year.” Mothman says, remembering...that prank.
JD grins. “ really that was some of my best work,you have to admit. Do you know how hard it is to find 300 chickens?” They asked as their little sister walked over.
Lucinda looked up at the teacher curiously.
JD pat her on the head, as if to say, ‘ she didn’t do anything, don’t involve her’
Lucinda tugged on Mothman’s trousers, and they handed over her information packet before she went off to check her dorm out, and maybe instal a portal to hell. -
Mineko uncovered her ears as the alarms and screeching gargoyles stopped. She looked and saw that JD must be the responsible one for this because of the principal. She just decided to let it slide this time and go and find Rosalind.
