Hinata matched her smirk with one of their own. “ yes, I suppose we are.” They said.
“...would you care to eat lunch with me?” They asked “..I mean obviously at lunch time I’m just planning ahead -
"Luck? You want to talk about luck?" Kylie asked, hurt showing on her face. "Okay, lets talk about luck. Let's do that." She huffed, storming over to Jen. "How about the fact that the only reason you're so better than me is because you, LUCKILY got a power you can actually control and use, and you got it in time for you to shut everyone out so you could train. How LUCKY for you. And how UNLUCKY for me to have a friend get this power out of nowhere and start shutting me out. For no reason other than the fact I wasn't LUCKY enough to have a power as well. How UNLUCKY I am to have to wear these stupid mitts so I don't burn everyone I touch. How UNLUCKY I am not to have a single familiar face here, except for one LUCKY girl who doesn't need me anymore. But, you know what? Maybe I am LUCKY. Lucky because when the cards were stacked against me I still got here, where I can learn to control my powers. Lucky because I'm going to train until I'm better than you. Lucky because I didn't have to live my life shutting out people we used to care about. And I'm lucky, because just like I got my powers last minute, I got something else last minute. I got the back bone I needed to move on, and stand up to the 'lucky' people like you." Kylie vented, taking a deep breath before walking away. She kept her face away from people's gaze as people began to snicker at her. She didn't want them to see the tears threatening to come on her cheeks or to know the pain in her chest. She didn't want to give them that satisfaction.

The sudden yelling so close to them had poor Hinata cowering on the floor within moments. They were trying to stop an oncoming panic attack, and failing.
‘Useless! You’re a useless child’
Smack
‘ you’re a waste of time’
Crack.
‘ If you don’t watch your step you’ll end up like your pathetic excuse of a brother’
Smack.
Hinata’s breathing had dramatically altered. Their breaths were harsh and laboured. Their hands were shaking, but the rest of them was trembling severely.
Hinata felt like they were about to throw up. -
(Sorry if Kylie went a bit too far. When it’s time for the class to leave she’ll probably help Hinata and try to make up for it.)

"s--- s--- s---," Jen muttered under her breath when Kylie finished yelling at her and Hinata bent down and began cowering.
Jen supposed she deserved it, after all, everything Kylie said was true.. well, except... "You're wrong!" Jen yelled after her, tears threatening to spill over and people watching the drama unfold, holding their breath. She didn't mind, right now Jen didn't care about her reputation. "Getting my powers and having to separate myself from you was the most unluckiest that ever happened to me!" Jen said, a tear rolling down her cheek. "The most unluckiest thing," Jen repeated quietly. She quickly turned away and towards Hinata, covering her eyes, really not wanting anyone to see her like this. "s---," Jen said again. "Are you okay?" She asked, bending down towards Hinata, one hand still covering her eyes and face. -
Kylie paused, turning to Jen, seeing Hinata cry. She walked over and sat next to them, resting her head on their shoulder to comfort them. She didn’t know if this would help them or just make things uncomfortable, but she decided to follow her instinct. “I’m sorry for that... I just... I’m a little lost. I couldn’t hold it in anymore.” She whispered to both of them. “I really needed to hear that.” She then told Jen with a small smile.

Hinata panicked at the sudden touch, and they spread out their fingers, strings attaching to Kylie and throwing her away from them as they scrambled back into a wall.
Eraser head sighed. “ get back to your classroom, the next teacher should be coming by soon.” He said as he made note of what had just happened between those three students, -
(That's happened to me a few times lol)
"Yeah... Yeah... Okay." Kylie sighed, getting up off the floor and knowing she over stepped trying to comfort that person. "This school will be my death..." She thought to herself as she changed to regular clothes and headed to er class. -
Jen didn't reply to Kylie. She didn't know what she could've said to make that situation any better. Sorry? I miss you? Those were long overdue, and unless Kylie was an angel sent from heaven, she probably wouldn't wanna hear any of it. Jen then looked in shock at Hinata as she threw Kylie. "Daaaaamn," she said, whistling. She seemed unconcerned, back to her b----y self.
When Eraserhead told everyone to get back to class, she did so. -
Hinata sat back in their seat beside the window.
“....so...do you still want to eat lunch with me?” They asked quietly, feeling utterly humiliated by that. -
