Kuriete squeaked when the snow plopped on his head, falling down in surprise before he started giggling and looked up at her with a grin
Ganz went back to his room and curled up in his blanket nest, picking up his book and continuing to read it -
Ilsa said "Hey, come on now. There's no shame in being gay." Chris said "But he's my best friend. I don't want to ruin a good friendship by telling him how I feel. Plus, what if he doesn't like me that way? That would be the most embarrassing thing ever." "Well, you'll never know until you tell him. And I'd probably tell him quickly, cause pretty sure everyone but Aaron knows you like him. You don't want one of them spilling the beans, trust me."

Alva-Rose fell to the ground from being shoved but flipped the bird at JD as they walked away. She grabbs onto Dallas's wrist and leads him to the laundry room, stomping angrily. You could almost see the steam coming from her ears. "My honor, my dignity!" She says dramatically when they reach the dryer. Dallas opens it and pulls out the fresh towels and began to pat himself down. "What's the plan?" He asked her, knowing Alva-Rose enough to know that she'd never let this slide. She took a towel and began to wrangle and twist it. "I dunno yet," she hissed.

Minerva sighed, shaking her head at JD and her partner as she sat down. “I know what it’s like to be cheated on.” She assured Roman. “It’s a terrible, awful feeling... Like you weren’t good enough for them.” She sighed. “But don’t let that feeling get to you. You certainly are good enough, and I’m sure your siblings would agree. Just because you’re different, doesn’t mean you’re less, and doesn’t mean being different is the reason for this. It’s natural for teenagers to go through this kinda stuff, because they are still trying to figure out who they are and what they need and/or want from life.” She explained, her voice soft and calm so Roman would know this wasn’t a lecture.
“It’s getting dark.” Cheryl sighed, helping him up. “We can finish the lights tomorrow.” She added, checking the inflatables to make sure they were in place and sturdy. As long as all the holidays were being represented, the lights could handle waiting. She smiled, feeling reassured, and waited for Kurieita to come inside with her, -

Henry was silent as he helped JD finish painting their bike. It had been in desperate need of a touch up.
“ y’know kiddo, that maybe wasn’t your best plan ever,” he chuckled playfully.
Roman blinked, surprised that it wasn’t a lecture. They shrugged. “ ...I’m over it.” They said in the tone of someone who wasn’t quite over it. “ I’m going for a job interview so that’ll take my mind off it.”
Mia started dishing up the bowls of Pho. She’d chopped up all kinds of accompaniment, something for everyone. She’d even made a fish version, specifically for the pesketarian Roman.
Jason was placing the toppings on the table, as well as setting the pitcher of homemade lemonade down. Mia worked too hard honestly, she’d been doing so since she was young. It wasn’t exactly fair but she was stubborn.
JD shrugged, before they got up, and ran to go get a quick shower before dinner, since they always dried super quickly.
They were the first at the table before Mia even yelled for it, pilling chillies into the bowl. -
Kurieite nodded in agreement and followed her inside, looking around for something he could help with

Ilsa left the room to let Chris think about what she said. She found Aaron, still on the stairs and still a little mad. She said "All done with your tantrum, Mr. Salt?" "Leave me alone." Aaron said. Ilsa sat down next to him and asked "Look, you accept you're not good at Overwatch, why not accept I'm better at Smash than you?" Aaron answered "Because, I'm not good at shooters and it's Chris' game, I don't play it enough to get good at it. Smash and other fighting games I practice and pull off combos like nothing. I'd like to think I'm good at it."

Alva-Rose and Dallas walked back into the living room, talking amongst themselves and now relatively dryer. "Sorry your stay wasn't more welcoming," Alva said. Dallas shrugged. "I've come to love your siblings after all this time I've spent with you guys.. JD might be crazy, but I bet you that they were trying to come up with a pun like that all day, maybe even a week or something," Dallas replies. Alva-Rose laughs at this. "Sshhhh, he'll hear you," Alva whispers when they step into the dining room, pointing at JD

Minerva sighed, knowing well Roman wasn't over it, but knowing well there wasn't much more she could do. "A job interview? Oh, honey you don't need a job. Your father and I have enough money to support all of you once you move out." Minerva told them, getting up when she heard dinner being called.
"Well, looks like we got in just in time!" Cheryl cheered, taking off her coat, boots, etc and heading over to the table. "Hey Mia, think you could teach me how to cook some time?" Cheryl asked, knowing that if she were to have a family some day she'd need to know how to cook. -
Roman followed her out. “ I’m moving out as soon as I can. So I’ll need to support myself somehow.” They told her, not exactly realising the potential repercussions of revealing this little fact.
Mia smiled at Cheryl, as she patted her head. “ hmmm, maybe you can help me make breakfast fir Christmas’s day.” She told her younger sister with a gentle tone and happy expression.
Henry raised an eyebrow at JD. “ JD that is way too many chillies.” He said calmly as he moved towards the table.
“ thank you Jason, thank you Mia.” He said as he added a few chillies and other things into his broth.
Jason beamed with pride. “ ah! Thanks, but really it was all Mimi over there.” He said playfully. Mia huffed at the old nickname. She wasn’t exactly...fond off...and now JD knew about it, which was just great.
JD put around half a bowl of chillies into their broth and ate the whole thing. “ Yeah Mimi this is great!”they said and Mia threw a towel at them. They default danced at her as they went and got more broth, and a bottle of hot sauce, which they poured into a glass and drank, with a straw of course.
( can someone please ask JD if they’re Satan, I have a meme.) -
(*silently remembers Minerva's performance of Mother Knows Best and facepalms at self*)

Kurieite walked up to JD and tilted his head at the drink he had made "can i try?" he asked curiusly, looking up at the taller person
Ganz smelled the food and debated getting out of bed to eat before he sighed and got up, heading downstairs for dinner -
Ilsa said "You can't be good at everything." She patted her brother's back and said "Come on. I think I smell dinner." Aaron frowned and as Ilsa walked downstairs, he walked back to his room to see if Chris wanted to stay.
