Alva-Rose wakes up gingerly, blinking, at first not knowing where the heck she was. Then the events of yesterday came crashing into her memory, and she knew that it must've been the hotel JD had booked. She yawns and stands up to walk to the bathroom and see if she could wash her mouth or something, since she couldn't bring her own toothbrush. JD was still sound asleep when she passed them.

Minerva woke up the next morning and started getting ready, preparing breakfast for her family. Today was a big day, today she and Henry would go to a meeting where they'd plan the fate of each child.
Cheryl came downstairs, tired and in need of coffee.
Jean entered the hospital early in the morning, checking on Jason's condition.
Kendall entered the bar where the resistance hung out and watched the news, seeing sightings of the Jersey Devil being reported. -
(Woah there, jd hasn’t actually done anything yet, I’ll let it slide this time, but please don’t control my characters. It wasn’t anything major so I’m fine

JD yawned as they woke up. They’d had a strange dream about being in a warm and interesting place. There had been so many cool looking people, but they’d woken up before they could meet the ‘king’

Roman was at Hikaris, and she drove him to Jason, so he was in the room when Jean showed up.

Mia stepped downstairs looking panicked.
“ mom, I -I went to check on- on JD and Alva and-.” She was hyperventilating -
Ganz yawned as he walked downstairs, rubbing at his eyes before he blinked at mia when he noticed her panic. He looked concerned and tilted his head

Aaron woke up before Ilsa did and he pulled a special gift from under his bed. He woke Ilsa up and said "Merry Christmas." Ilsa opened the present and it turned out Aaron had found something special. About 5 years ago, Ilsa lost a special stuffed bat and was sad. Apparently Aaron found it and gave it to her.

"JD you up or what?" Alva-Rose asks between a mouthful of toothpaste and water, a makeshift mouth wash. She spits it out and walks out the bathroom back to the main room. "Merry Christmas!" She says, smiling widely. "Your present is back at home, unfortunately," she says, shrugging.
All the gifts Alva-Rose had made for her siblings came back to mind as she said this: For Ganz, she'd knitted a blanket with some slightly expensive cloth so that it was thick and warm, it also had arm holes so that it doubled as a cloak type thing and he could walk around in it. Alva carved Aaron a miniature statue of Battra, his favorite kaiju. She knit Ilsa the cutest little pillow with a picture of a sea turtle on it. Then for JD, Alva-Rose had knitted another blanket, except it was a patchwork with all sorts of cryptids depicted on it.
Alva-Rose hadn't been sure on what to do for Roman at first, but she made him a music box with a deer instead of the usual ballerina (it was the toughest gift to make by far, Alva wasn't the best at wiring). Maybe it was a cop out, but Alva-Rose didn't know what to get Jason, so she made him a pillow as well, with "best big bro!!" written on it in calligraphy. For Mia Alva-Rose made a blanket with lots a flowers sewn on it, which was tedious but worth it. Cheryl and Kurieta's gifts were the only ones she didn't make herself. For Cheryl she bought her more glow in the dark star decorations, except they were color changing. Alva-Rose knew Kurieta liked to paint, so she bought some canvases that were star shaped, along with some acrylic paints.
Alva-Rose also knitted a scarf for Henry in his favorite color. She weaved a hate for Minerva, finished with a lavish ribbon. -

Minerva looked up to her panicked daughter, and sighed. She gave Mia one job. "I was worried this would happen... I mean, I knew JD was going to run off because what else is a rebellious teen going to do when you give him a motorcycle... But Alva-Rose?" Minerva muttered before getting up from the couch. "Don't worry dear, I'm not upset with you. I'll call the police and tell them to file two missing person reports." She assured Mia. Technically this wasn't fully true. She would call the agency to report the missing creatures rather than the police. After all, if the police put out those missing posters then finding JD, Alva-Rose, and the other children will be all the more easier for the monsters.

Jean entered the hospital, feeling reassured to see Jason and Roman still there. "How're you doing this morning?" Jean asked Jason as he prepared for the day's work.

“...I feel better, but odd?” He says staring at the ceiling. “I keep seeing things that aren’t there...and...I feel kind of numb?” It was clear what he wanted to say he wouldn’t discuss in front of his sibling.
Hikari glances at Roman, “...I think your brother wants to speak to the good doctor alone.” The devil fae says quietly before the two of them walked off.
Roman shook their head. This was how they were spending Christmas.

Mothman arrived at the resistances bar. They looked extremely tired. They sat down at the closest booth possible. They had a large gash on their chest.

Mia looked at Minerva quizzically.” ..,that’s...a little early to inform the police.” She said. “ ...it’s more likely they snuck out to go see Jason.” She says. “ the...the thing is all of Jd’s stuff is gone. And I don’t mean clothes. I mean everything, they’ve moved heir stuff.

“ happy holidays.” JD said, having never been able to say Christmas for some reason.
JD pulls out a really pretty necklace that has a stone matching their sisters eyes. The chain looks very delicate as well. The Crystal is wrapped delicately in wire.
“...I found this when I was scavenging.” They shrugged.
“ so I made this for you.”
( it’s like a magic crystal? Thing too fancy but it’s from hell. It radiates a heat which is weird for a Crystal, by it doesn’t really do anything.) -

Ganz walked over to mia and tilted hos head as he signed '[i]what happened?'[i]. As he was doing this Kurieite fell down the stairs
