"I... I don't know..." Minerva replied with a frown. She recognized the banshee, and she couldn't risk both Roman and Jason being alone with him. "I suppose I could wait outside..." she sighed, going out the door and putting on some x-Ray contact lenses she got from work to watch the children. It wouldn't do much except show their basic outlines in the form of shadows, but if the Banshee tried to take them she'd be prepared.
Cheryl (who I forgot existed) went to bed as well, sighing as she thought about everything that had happened. "My family's too chaotic... School can't get here fast enough." She sighed to herself. -
Jason coughed lightly.
“ it’s oaky, I’m okay Roman.” He soothed them gently. They were shaking.
A pink haired girl bumped into Minerva, “ sorry miss.” Hikari said apologetically as she walked into the room.
Roman grabbed her hand for support.

JD grinned. They ordered some burgers, and some chilli cheese fries and got extra hot sauce.
“ we’re heading to West Virginia...so it’ll be a few hours until we get there. I’ve booked a hotel.” They say beaming -

"No problem. How long are we planning on staying? Is this some huge journey of self discovery?" Alva-Rose asks JD, posing dramatically. She completely attacked the meal when their order came, as if she didn't have pho a few hours earlier. Dallas might've liked snacks, but Alva-Rose was a beast for meals of any kind.

“Hopefully we can say his condition is bad and he’ll need to stay here for a few days.” Jean muttered, not wanting the two to fall back into Minerva’s clutches. “When the Hunter leaves I’ll call Kendall and we’ll get out of here.” He continued, not sure if they knew they were being raised by a Monster Hunter or not. Perhaps Roman knew, being part of the resistance and all.

JD shrugged. “ I just- I feel so cooped up, so I thought I’d hit the road for a few days.” They answer as they quickly finish their food.

Jason was too out of it to respond properly.
Roman however looked confused. Hikari put a hand on roman’s shoulders.
“ jean, they don’t understand, and wait, roman’s Mum is a Hunter?” -
