The taking damage and buffing attack is what I mean but at the same time, I also mean that in the way Lucario can shoot balls of Aura, is my character allowed to have that power or is that not possible?

That’s an ability he can work towards, since Lie Ren uses his aura to blast a grims head off.
I can’t allow you start with an ability like that since I think it’s a tad too overpowered for a first year, but if you work into his backstory that he’s been training his aura, then I can allow him to have a higher aura reserve.
I’d allow the buff semblance is what I’m saying -

Semblance: He can attack with Aura and his attacks grow stronger the more damage he takes but doing so also drains it. He is working to see if he can concentrated this into a ball and into a beam attack
Weapon: Iron knuckles that can shoot small, non-lethal bullets
Looks: It's not in the picture but he does have jackal ears instead of normal ones
Personality: Loner, not much of a team player, confident, focused, apathetic
Backstory: There isn't really much to tell, Lucas was found to have abnormal levels of Aura within him, but no way to control it, until a monk taught him the way. He still works to focus it even more
Fighting style: Lucas prefers to fight close range and hit enemies with a barrage of fist attacks or leg kicks
Other: There is one person he cares about, his best friend Kamui

Semblance: She can turn parts of her body into weapons such as lances and she can fire electrical pulses but both of these use a lot of Aura
Weapon: A sword called the Yato. With different kinds of Dust, it can slash in different elements
Looks: Not easy to see in the picture but her eyes are reptilian like
Personality: Kamui is a kind person who cares deeply for the people she loves and will come to the aid of anyone who should ask them for it, rapid-firing apologies if she does something to upset others
Fighting style: Kamui usually uses her sword to get the job done and usually fights at mid to close range

Species: Fauna (Snake)
Gender: Male
Color: Cyan
Sexuality: Straight
Semblance: He gains massive strength and endurance but his Aura drains rapidly
Weapon: Just an ordinary sword and gun
Looks: Tall, skinny, tanned skin, short blue hair, snake tail
Personality: Crafty, sneaky, persuasive, talkative, some would probably say annoying, sometimes cowardly
Fighting style: Quetzal is quite the cheap fighter, preferring to use hit-and-run tactics by slashing an opponent, running a good distance and firing his gun
Other: Lucas does care about him a little but for the most part he just tolerates him

I’m afraid that I’m not allowing another dragon, I’m sorry. Why does Kamui have two semblances?
You’ll need to go over the names and fix them to fit the colour rule, there’s also not enough for a team.
Quetzals aura is too similar to rachels I’m afraid.
Also I’m going to have to ask that you get rid of the abnormal aura thing, as canonically that’s not a thing.
He’d have to have maiden abilities for that, aura also doesn’t work the way I think you think it does?
I’ll link the page, aura is a natural shield , but it is unlocked, you have it naturally but can’t use it from birth, -
Ren is an exception, from a country specialising in this form of aura use, when I said I’d let you go for learning to use it as advanced as ren, I meant throughout the years.
So unfortunately as of right now he can’t attack with Aura.
The way dust works would require a coating of dust but other than two semblances Kamui checks out. -
I didn't think more than one power mean more than one Semblance. We can just get rid of the electrical pulses. And how about making her a snake instead?
I really didn't think the color thing mattered, considering some of your own and Pheonix's characters don't have names that match the color
I was basing Quetzal's Sembelance off the Aztec God of his name sake. I wasn't aware of Rachel's but I'll change it
Even reading that page, I'm not fully sure how I can rework Lucas to fit better and still have some qualities of Lucario like I want. -

Honestly I’m not sure you’re going to be able to make him fit exactly like a lucario. Rwby is very strict with its aura ruled.

Yeah, I don’t know why you thought that, but it’s strictly one power per person unless they are a maiden / a silver eyed warrior.
You could adjust Quetzal, to maybe the more strikes he lands the stringer he gets, but it depletes his aura. -

Puppet, I'm in the middle of making make two characters; but I've got another question
Do the faunus have natural abilities that have to do with their faunus heritage, or does the ability they have just their semblance? Like, a frog can jump pretty high, but if the character I make jumps high, is that his semblance or can he have jumping abilities along with a semblance? If that makes sense uhh -
Faunus do seem to have abilities that go with their trait.
The cat Faunus we know off, we don’t see her landing strategy because she would have landed on her feet, and she can see in the dark.
So it’s reasonable that the frog could jump really high, but wouldn’t have the long tounge unless that was their trait?
It’s the same as how Lillie can fly because she has wings, but one of her relatives has talons, so she is flightless, but both characters have great vision due to being birds. -

Semblance: Enhanced durability, she can withstand even the most brutal of attacks
Weapon: A bat that has retractable spikes and is able to shoot like a gun (she rarely uses the gun feature)
Looks: A dark skinned beauty with very short, almost shaved, frizzy hair. Her eyes are gray and her clothing consists of large cargo pants with many pockets, a crop top for optimal movement, and jewelry around her neck and wrists. She has a bit of a muscular build, often mistaken for a guy
Personality: Very socially awkward, her actions speak much louder than her words (strong and silent type). What she lacks in social situations, she makes up for in the battlefield and in being the most loyal soldier and teammate. Mahogany follows orders and is very respectful of her uppers
Backstory: Mahogany was raised in a family of warriors, some being hunters and huntresses, others in the military. Her whole life has revolved around protecting people. She's close to her family, and she has five siblings; Mahogany is the oldest. Heritage, ancestry, and kinship are very important to her, and things were all going well... Then things got difficult in her personal life. Her mom and dad couldn't afford to take care of their six kids, and they all got spread out to stay with different family members. Mahogany wasn't able to see or visit her siblings a lot, and it was rare for their schedules to be aligned so that all of them could meet altogether. Mahogany was distraught at this fact, and since she couldn't protect them by being physically next to them, she instead opted to protect them by fighting the monsters in this world and training to be a huntress.
Fighting style: She likes close-range combat, brute force, and showing her strength

Semblance: Controlling water (best if he's next to a large body of water. If he's not, then he'll have to resort to pulling water out of the air, which is really bad because the air becomes dry, hard to breathe in, and can make him along with all of his enemies and teammates dehydrated and prone to have a nosebleed)
Weapon: Two sais that can turn into tridents and glocks
Looks: Sage's dark green hair is slicked back into a ponytail, without the ponytail it'd reach a little past his shoulders. His eyes are green, and he has webbed feet and hands. He usually wears gloves cover them, though. His skin is slightly wetter than the average human skin (Sage usually shrugs this off by telling people he has a sweating problem)
Personality: Most of the time he's cold, analytical, smart, and condenscending. A classic snob who only sees your deficiencies. However, the few times he gets sad, he'll have a tendency to be self-destructive, impulsive, and out of control
Backstory: He was born into a high-class family that specialized in teaching mixed martial arts to future hunters and huntresses. Sage has always had to prove himself to be a great fighter and perfect son, because he was the result of an affair. His mom cheated on his stepfather with a faunus, which ultimately made Sage grow up in a place he didn't truly belong. His mother put up with him because as soon as news came out that she was pregnant, she didn't want the family to be ridiculed and mocked with the public knowing about the affair. His stepfather has the same thoughts, they both cared about the family name. Sage grows up learning to hide his faunus attributes and constantly trying to prove his worth to his stepfather.. His real dad's identity is unknown
Fighting style: Usually high jumps and taekwondo-esque kicks. He can often surprise his enemy by switching up his style without hesitation; Sage is skilled in many fighting styles
Other: Has an older brother named Basil, though he's only a half brother and obviously his stepfather's favorite since that's his actual son
Name: Jhett Brunatre
Age: 17
Species: Human
Gender: Male
Colour: Dark brown
Sexuality: Bisexual
Semblance: Superspeed (similar to Ruby) at times he can go so fast it's impossible to detect with the human eye, but the downside is that his superspeed is like a short burst of speed, and the more he uses it without rest or break, the shorter the bursts are
Weapon: Big-ass sword, easily the same size as Jhett, maybe even a couple inches longer. It doesn't have a gun form, but it can compact into a stylish belt that Jet wears around his waist
Looks: Half-shaved black hair that reaches a little past his ears and covers one of his dark brown eyes. He often wears scarves or jackets, even if it's not cold. His pants are always black, coupled with thick heel boots.
Personality: Flirtatious and snarky. He often comes off as rude and mean with his blatant honesty and criticism. Jhett has never told a lie, he believes honesty is the best policy, no matter how much the truth hurts
Backstory: As the song goes, Jhett literally started from the bottom and is now here at Beacon. He grew up with only his father, as his mother died giving birth to him, and they didn't get along well. If Jhett were a quiet and scared kid, he probably would've been abused; but Jhett instead fights and argues with his dad, as he is very resilient and won't let himself succumb to his father's insults. Jhett and his dad were like an on-again off-again relationship, often Jhett found himself hungry in an alleyway, or homeless for a period of months at a time. Through the streets he learned how to street fight. He impressed a hunter with his skills and that hunter taught him about a more coordinated and proffessional way of fighting. This hunter inspired Jhett to take a chance and apply to Beacon and finally be independent from his dad.
Fighting style: Very sneaky, he often holds himself back at the beginning of battles in order to assess how his enemies fight, then near the end he comes at them blazing and overpowers them with attack after attack without stopping
Other: I purposefully left out the name of the hunter that helped Jhett
