“ no one said he lied.” Laurence said scowling at the annoying man. Laurence’s wings folded into his back, before disappearing. It felt different than usual. It felt natural, and comfortable. Something told him he didn’t have to worry about his back starting to bleed anymore, Laurence glanced at his previously dead arm.
Before all this, he could only move it ever so slightly, meaning he’d been relying on a single arm for a large chunk of his life,
“ it seems I’ll need to re-learn how to use both hands again.” He mutters as he flexes the scaled arm. -
