(Frost probably shouldn't do that. Unless he has the fore thought to bring ear plugs, Angel might hypnotize him into being arrested)
Alice tried to changer her arms into bear claws, but nothing was happening. She thought harder and harder about bears or any animal but nothing was happening. She said "Bloody hell, don't tell be this is wearing off." -
Akumu frowned slightly as her watched them from his corner before he started pulling himself up into the rafters while yume watched.

Adonis could tell that Danny and Alice's powers weren't working like they wanted them to. She put the pencil she was holding up to her face in a thoughtful pose. "This doesn't seem like the type of thing to wear off. If powers came from the lab explosion, then it would have had to genetically alter our chemical makeup," Adonis says.
"Danny, your powers have to do with electricity, right?" Adonis asks. "Maybe you're like a battery, or a phone. You can run out and go dead.." Adonis realizes how this sounds, "B-but not dead as in dead, just drained of energy." -
"Yeah but I'm already 'recharged'." Danny said.
"Ok let's think. Maybe our powers are emotion based?" Danny said. "Like when we were fighting that icy guy, it was life or death, fight or flight. And this morning, when Yume accidentally shot Akumu when he was a spider, he seemed terrified. Maybe if we try to recreate those emotions, we could focus it into using our powers? " -
Alice said "Are we sure that'll work?" It did seem to make sense to her, but at the same time it seemed weird as well.

Yume frowned slightly in thought "that makes sense" he said quietly as he crossed his arms before he blinked, realising something "wait, but Akumu gets really unstable when he gets upset and stuff

Adonis thinks to herself for a minute. "If that's the case, then I suppose everytime I open a portal, I feel longing? Or desire. Like, I want to reach a destination. It might be different for us all," Adonis nods at Akumu, "But we can figure out what emotion it is that triggers each of our powers, then work on concentrating it and being able to harness that emotion it at will."

Danny nodded in agreement. "In that case," he said "we need to try to remember our emotions and feelings that day. I mean that's the only logical explanation I can think of. I mean, even Superman didn't know the full extent of his powers when he was young. " Danny turned towards the mannequin again and closed his eyes, remembering the day prior. He felt many things. Excitement. Fear. He felt that he had to act in order to save the people in the bank. He felt he had to be needed. Danny focused hard on the feelings, tried to find a balance, to find an emotion he could turn on instantly so when the time came, he'd be ready to battle. Responsibility. Sure, maybe it sounded stupid, but made sense for Danny. He always felt the need to act in some way or another. Whether his friends needed help, strangers, or his family. His family. He felt that finding his family was a responsibility. He missed them. And needed to be with them. Danny felt like he should be there to help. All the time. Felt needed. And, after all, heroes do have responsibilities. Danny opens his eyes, which sparked with yellow lightning and he zoomed towards the mannequin and struck it down, then zoomed down to his friends chuckling, and grinning ear to ear in amazement.

Frost made it to the house, a few blocks away albeit, but made it nonetheless. It was still swarming with cops. He scowled and decided that it wasn't worth it, and headed back into town. "Maybe I'll hit up another bank. Lay a little low this time so I don't run into those freaks again." -
Alice saw what Danny did and realized that it could work. He thought about her fight with the ice guy. She remember him beating the crows with his powers.. All their cried pains and hurt wings. This made her angry as she hates animals getting hurt by humans. She thought about that angered feeling and with the thought of a tiger, she gained tiger paws and slashed the mannequin.

Akumu had managed to climb up into the rafters by this point and was simply watching the others. Yume winced slightly as Alice tore open the mannequin, but started trying to form his arrows, looking a little nervous as he kept glancing up at his twin

Naydren peeked his head out of the lake he was calling home, the threads that made up his arms twitching as he listened to the voices around him. After a few seconds he climbed out of the water and started walking in a seemingly random direction, humming cheerfully to himself -
Everyone was channeling their emotions. Adonis could probably guess what emotion everyone felt just by studying them. Definitely a sense of duty for Danny. Something like protection or loyalty for Alice. The twins probably felt the same thing; the need to take care of the other. Adonis tried to focus on her own emotion though. What could it be.. Yearning? Desire? A sense of direction? For some reason, Alice popped into her mind as she tried to focus on these things, and it seemed to work. Adonis opened portals a lot more quickly now, at one point she even held open two at the same time.

Danny chuckled in amazement. "We're doing it!" Danny fired a blast of lightning at the mannequin and managed to hit it, but also managed to hit as shelf causing it to fall with a loud bang. He also struck a light causing it to short and spark. "Damn. Still can't seem fire a straight blast. That's a bummer. If seems powerful." Danny smiled at his friends nervously before changing the subject.
"So what did you guys think of?" He said while leaning on a wall. -
Alice struck and made claw marks on more mannequins and stopped to change her arms back to normal. She answered Danny's question by saying "I thought of the crows that iceman hurt and bludgeoned to death. Hurting animals makes me mad."

Akumu hissed and shifted his entire body backwards when Danny fired off the lightning, not wanting to get hit by it. At the same time Yume managed to form his arrow and shot them through the dummy and into the wall behind it, leaving a large burnt patch. At Danny's question Yume and Akumu both responded with "My brother" while Akumu dropped down from the rafters the the form of a crow

Adonis juggled the mannequins. Of course she wouldn't have been able to do this with her bare hands, she used portals to transport it around. Once she was satisfied with her ability to open and close portals faster, the set it down to answer Danny's question. "I.. hmm..." Adonis looks at Alice sheepishly and then turns away, her face blushing furiously, but she tries to hide it behind her notebook. "All of you guys," Adonis lies.
