Mario stood up and Sonic asked "Are you okay?" Mario nodded. Kyle asked "Where's the others?" He pointed to Dark Land, where Bowser lives.

"Looks cheerful" Jak said sarcastically as he looked where mario had pointed

Mario then began speaking and told Sonic he needed to save Luigi so he couldn't join them. Sonic said "Don't worry dude. You worry about your brother and we'll worry about everything else." With that, Mario ran off to find Luigi.

Vincent watched him run off before looking back at the group as Jak huffed in annoyance

Kyle said "Well, let's go. We got two princesses and a fire breathing turtle to save." and he ran with Kirby and Sonic again."

Vincent looked a little amused before he and jack followed them

Along the way, Kyle found a yellow gem in the ground and dug it out. Sonic recognized it and said "You got a Chaos Emerald."

Vincent lifted an eyebrow and moved closer to look at it while jak blinked in confusion "isnt that a little out of place?

Kyle said "That's what I was about to say." Sonic grabbed the emerald and said "It is, but when Galeem attacked they were scattered everywhere. Not just in my world, but everywhere."

Jak nodded in understanding and Vincent looked around with a frown

Sonic stashed the emerald away and began running again.

Jak and Vincent followed him

Kyle and Kirby followed. Soon they reached Dark Land and encountered tons of minions.

Vincent quickly drew Cerberus and started shooting as Jak darted forward to attack

Kyle used some of the power ups he had to fight along with everyone.
