Jak crossed his arms and grumbled at him

Sonic said "We'll start by going there." He pointed to Peach's castle and said "Mario and his friends are being controlled there."

Vincent nodded in agreement and jak growled "and who the hell put you on charge

Sonic said "Sorry, no time to argue. Let's go." Then Sonic, Kirby and Kyle started running to the castle.

Jak scowled but ran after them with Vincent close behind

As everyone rushed to the castle, Kyle picked up some Mario Power-ups along the way.

Jak noticed and looked a little confused

Kyle looked at Jak and said "I need a weapon. If they work for Mario, they'll work for me." He then kept running to the castle.

Jak nodded in understanding "i guess that makes sense" he said as he continued running, glancing back to see Vincent drawing out Cerberus

Once they reach the castle, a mind controlled Mario was waiting for them. He attacked with a fire ball and almost burnt Kyle.

Vincent darted over to Kyle to protect him while Jak went sark and lunged at mario

Mario jumped to avoid Jak but Sonic used his homing attack to hit him. Kyle used a Fire Flower to blast Mario back with fireballs.

Vincent quickly started shooting at mario as Jak continued trying to attack him

Kirby struck the final blow by crushing him with his stone form. Kyle saw a light ball floating above an unconscious Mario and grabbed it. When he did, Mario was free from his mind control and he grabbed his head.
(The reason our heroes never thought to do that is because only Kyle can see it.) -
Vincent holstered his gun and jak dropped his dark form with a growl
