Jak frowned"i dont know" he said, his long ears twitching slightly as he tried to figure out what Vincent was listening to. "We are being followed" Vincent said after a moment

Kyle looked around and didn't see anything. He did however find a dagger on the ground. He picked it up for defense.

Vincent then twisted aground and fired Cerberus as. Guard hound lept out from a rock, shooting it down mid air. How ever the sounds of gunfire caused the rest of the large pack to come charging at them from their hidding places

Sonic used his homing attack on one hound, by it appeared to only make it angrier.

Vincent started shooting down the hounds as quickly as he could while Jak started punching any that got to close

Kirby tried to inhale one of the hounds but it resisted and slashed him.

Jak noticed and punched the hound away from him before pulling out his morph gun

Kyle used his new dagger and stabbed some of the hounds. Some fled in retreat.

Vincent heard a howl and then the rest of the pack retreated, leaving the slowly fading corpses behind

Sonic asked "What were those?"

Vincent frowned as he holstered Cerberus "Guard Hounds" he aaid as glanced at the hills around them "we should get moving, i doubt they have gone far"

Sonic nodded and followed Vincent. Kyle picked up Kirby to help him catch up to everyone.

Vincent kept looking around as they traveled, keeping an eye out for the guard hounds while Jak protected the back of the group

(I'm afraid I don't know anything about Final Fantasy 7. You're gonna have to take the story from here)
Kyle kept his eyes peeled for anything else that might ambush them. -

Vincent stopped as they arived at Cosmo Canyon, glancing at the cliff walls around them "Nanaki should be somewhere nearby" he said
