Sonic was too fast for the guns and dodged them effortlessly. He and Kirby began to try and take out the guns while Kyle hid with Jak.

Jak glanced at him before he pulled out his morph gun and started changing out the mods

Kyle said "Don't look at me, I don't have a weapon." Soon a large metal robot in the shape of a lobster crashed into the bridge.

Jak then handed him the morph gun "now you do. Dont break it" he said before darting out at the robot and changing into dark jak

Kyle began firing at the lobster but the Morph gun's bullets were ineffective. Sonic smashed some of the weak points on the robot like it was one of Eggman's.

Jak managed to get his claws into one of the joints and started ripping it open

Soon the robot was destroyed and the heroes were able to advance further into the heart of the Halberd.

Jak stayed in dark form as he darted into the Halberd while vincent stayed with the group

In the Halberd, there was a room where Meta Knight was in, waiting for the heroes. There was a sword in the center that Kirby took. As he did, Meta Knight began his attack.

Jak snarled and lunged at meta knight with his claws outstretched as vincent carefully started shooting

Meta Knight countered Jak's attacks and used his Mach Tornado to fling him and Vincent across the room.

Jak snarled in pain as he hit the wall before sending an eco blast at Meta Knight while Vincent got up from where he had landed, pressing his normal hand to his head as he stumbled

As strong and as cool as Meta Knight was, even he was no match for five heroes and was soon defeated. Kyle broke him out of his mind control.

Jak continued growling at Meta Knight after he was freed, more tgen a little upset at getting thrown

Meta Knight came to and looked at everyone. He saw Kirby and said "Sorry Kirby, Galeem had his control on me. Thank you for getting free. Now I can help free all of Dream Land. Anything I can do for all of you before I do though?"
