The war between Camole and Vilantus raged of for decades, along with this winter made the battles worse and tortured the two countries as they filed their lands with blood. Children had been born and died without seeing peace, or spring. The news of the war ending was relieving to all of the people but confusing all the same, with people not knowing what to do without the war.
One night, while the war was still a ship full of soldiers, got a little too close to the wrong island during a really bad storm, and almost all of them were slain by one person. A child, an orphan, C1. The only one remaining captured C1 and decided to take ownership of them, not custody, not look after C1, ownership and they trained C1 as a war weapon. C1 was very useful in the war and their old savage way of living combined with training as a solider wreaked havoc on the field.
In the unknown at the time, the last battle of the war C1 was horribly injured and they watched their owner bleed out. C1 was left to his sister to look after, as he’d done with his child when he left for the war. One of C1’s owner's soilder friends came and picked C1 up at the hospital and came to take them back to their new home.
Upon arriving at their new home C1 see’s that the person that raised them was not only rich but a noble, the king in fact. C1 was then placed as the royal guard for the one that raised thems child, C2. C2 hates the sight of C1, seeing the face of someone that killed their sibling(On the ship), was raised by their father and watched him die. But there was one thing C2 wanted to do more than anything, to destroy C1. But C2 ends up finding the innocence in C1 starling and ends up finding them oddly endearing...
